Prices of the electricity we use to charge

If you read that deposition, you'll see that ABC worked with Kamala against Trump to make him look as bad as possible and her as good as possible. There's nothing to enjoy, when you've been fed a false narrative like that and fallen for it. You'd be better off watching Tom and Jerry, from which...

Because she knew all the questions, so had plenty of time to practice, and she wasn't fact checked when she told porkies, like the " fine people on both sides" and the "bloodbath", both of which were quotes taken out of context to change the meaning.

    Brompton Swytch Controller

Nine times out of 10, if the LCD doesn't come on or goes off, it's because it has no voltage from the battery. It works independently from the controller. The battery is connected to the controller, but a branch is taken off it inside the controller without the controller having any influence...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

To those who thought Kamala did well in the debate, this is embarrassing for both you and her. All this was obvious to unbiased watchers. Basically, she was given the questions beforehand. Trump wasn't. ABC were told to keep away from the subjects that would give her trouble. Trump had no...

    Tandam CoPilot 26-3

I've never tried one of those controllers. Let's hope it doesn't use speed control. Does it have all the right connectors. If not, a KT controller might be better.

    Loose battery

All I can remember is that you can do something with the top retainer if you loosen a screw or two, or something like that. If you show me a photo, I'll probably remember.

PikaBoost 2: Easy to fit e-bike conversion kit offers more power than its predecessor

It has regen, so if you pedal twice as hard, it will charge up the battery. Some guys just don't think it through when they come up with these ideas. At least you'll always be able to charge your phone when there are power cuts, as long as you're fit enough to pedal hard.

DVSA Market Surveillance apparently ramping up illegal eBike investigations

What they've done before is use Trading Standards to go after them for not describing the bike as not legal to be used in most circumstances. IIRC, they made the seller contact all the customers to offer a refund. in order to avoid prosecution. As long as the seller makes it absolutely clear...

DVSA Market Surveillance apparently ramping up illegal eBike investigations

The auditors have done a lot to rein in that sort of behaviour. The police are a lot more subdued if you get out a phone and start recording, and they're getting wise to the auditors, but some are now wearing spy glasses to catch the tyrants doing their thing.

You really need the next size down adapter. A rear 140mm should be about right, and if it's too low, use those alignment washers on it, and plain washers as necessary.

I am a newbie when it comes to electric mountain bikes

That's a lot of money to spend on a bike for casual riding. I'd be looking at something a lot cheaper.

DVSA Market Surveillance apparently ramping up illegal eBike investigations

Good point. AFAICS, about 90% of the people that come on this forum and all the commentators on Youtube and magazines have no idea that a throttle isn't a throttle. Only IC engines need athrottle to regulate the power. On an electric vehicle, it's just a sensor that gives a voltage between 1v...

    For Sale Bargains

There was a thread running about a year ago about that, where somebody posted a video made by a service dealer.. The one in the video was for a bike like that Bergamont, and the bill was about £600. He mentioned that £1000 was typical for an annual service on a bike like that, which had been...

PikaBoost 2: Easy to fit e-bike conversion kit offers more power than its predecessor

It doesn't seem to disengage, so free-wheeling and riding without power are not going to be much fun. They should have fitted a cable to disengage it completely. It wouldn't have taken much effort to do that - just pull the arm up against the spring.

Wisper Wisper bike owners - how are your wheels & spokes looking?

That makes sense; however, once the salt water has been on it, it'll seep up the nipple threads and into the rim, so washing afterwards won't do much. Ideally, you'd need to protect it first with something like Supertrol 001.

Another Swytch Gen 3 battery adapter on eBay

My first thought was that it's a bit expensive, but when you consider that he'll provide the correct battery connector and length of wire plus a fuse and postage, it's not so bad. The alternative would be to drill a hole in the case and splice in a battery cable, which would cost about £2 for...

£245 Argos Folder Improvements - complete story

The power before the modifications was very weak, so it needed the low gearing to support the motor. The downside was that 12 mph was a practical top speed. On a steepish hill, I had to use the low gears. When the power was increased to a normal level, the gearing was too low throughout the...

    Tandam CoPilot 26-3

Your problem is caused by the controller. I'd replace that first, then see how it goes. You can always replace the battery and motor later if it's still not enough. 750w motor is illegal too, though, to be honest, there's not much chance of getting caught unless something changes.
