    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

The KT controllers arrived from Topbike kit. I'm not sure when because they went to my old address and I had to wait for friends to bring them round, but we can say no more than 10 days. Now the bad news. While the controllers are grinning at me from the table, I've been sitting in the armchair...

Review of Argos £285 Folding Bike

I prefer simple science. Energy comes out of the battery and goes into the motor, regulated by the controller. If you put an oscilloscope on the controller output, you see a square wave of height corresponding to the battery voltage and each pulse length determined by the controller to get...

Can't you buy one from Oxygen? It should be a lot cheaper than a rebuild.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

It all seems very one-sided to me. What about the people who suffer harm from the other side? Does anybody care about their feelings? Apparently, it doesn't count as hate because they're not a minority group, except in London, they provably are. What about the people, who get murdered, stabbed...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

In practice it's not. Tommy Robinson was banned from every social media channel, and he had his PayPal cancelled, the day after he released his Panodrama documentary. Nobody has ever been able to show a single incident of where he broke any of the social media rules or laws.

    For Sale Bargains

Yeah, they're brilliant. I have two power stations and two extension batteries giving me around 5kwh. In the winter, I charge them from my house solar panels whenever the sun comes out, then I use them to supplement my power on the dull days when the solar panels don't provide enough. They can...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

We used to have religions like Catholicism and Christianity that gave us moral guidance. That suited the governments at the time. Now, they want more control, so they invented a new religion that contains all the elements that people call wokeness. If you go against that religion, it's...

    Argos Cheap Ebike £360

Horses for courses. I don't think that bike would suit everyone. It might be low on power because of the small battery, but it did seem to fit the needs, which that guy described, especially at that price.

    Need a hub motor recommendation - 36h rear cassette, 135mm OLD, 36V, 250-350W, 328rpm for 16" wheel build

328rpm gives about 15mph downhill. Normal riding would be about 13 mph before the power drops off. Therefore if you want to go everywhere at 15 mph, 48v would be better, but you'd need to turn down the current to about 12 amps, otherwise you might get too much torque or overload the motor...

He's looking for it in the context of a road bike. Road bike hydraulic brakes are a lot more expensive, and it's a right pain to convert. Cable operated hydraulic brakes could therefore be justified. None of that applies to the types of bikes we ride.

    Battery Fires

Two things: HW could have introduced regulations on cladding when he had the chance; secondly, he could have ordered that buildings like that should have been built so that they didn't need cladding half-way through their life. It's definitely his fault. As I said, he was too busy worrying about...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Let's look at it another way. If you were a government worried about losing control of the population, would you set up some think tanks to brainstorm different methods to regain control? What do you think they'd come up with? I can think of about 5 or 6 methods, one of which would be faked...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Project Bluebeam is an actual plan formulated back in the 50's/60's and declassified some time ago. It was formulated as one possible method of taking control of the population by scaring them to stay in their houses after faking an alien invasion with fake news broadcasts and acted scenes. When...

    Need a hub motor recommendation - 36h rear cassette, 135mm OLD, 36V, 250-350W, 328rpm for 16" wheel build

Most cassette motors go over 140mm by the time you're finished. Why not use a freewheel motor? You can get your narrow width by fitting a 5 or 6 speed freewheel, which will be fine on a bike like that.

    Battery Fires

It was actually Harold Wilson's fault. His government had the chance to fix the regulations for building materials, but he chose not to prioritise it. Instead of fixing stuff, he was only concerned about workers rights and disrupting the economy. He introduced The Rent Act 1965 which made it...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

It's a combination of that and the BBC and MSM keep recycling old videos from 20 years ago of things that they say nobody, including the military experts, can explain, even though all those videos have been completely debunked. They're trying to spin a narrative, probably because Project...

    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

I wouldn't waste money on pads. Hydraulic brakes can be had for £20. By the time you've bought pads, you're half way there and it probably won't solve your problem. Cable brakes have to bend the disc to press it against the fixed pad. You can see that when you look from the top while you...
