    Brexit, for once some facts.

the brexiter tories are going after Hammonds at the moment for not cheering brexit. It's interesting to note that the Treasury stick to their pre-referendum forecast of higher borrowings. Let's just wait a few more weeks when the OBR release their forecast of tax revenue. Unlike the footsie 100...

Rosie, that's a subject on its own, and it should be properly debated on this forum. My personal view is the answer depends on how much you need the services of your local bike shop. For most people, e-bikes are just normal bikes with a motor and a battery added to. If they are used to look...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the Pound keeps falling this morning, now reaching new low since the referendum. People with cash will have to move their cash into the stock market, causing a bubble that will be burst at some time.

Looking to get an affordable bike with throttle

Woosh Sirocco? Woosh sold a lot of them to commuters for short distance commute in the last 6-7 years. Bafang SWXH motor, 10AH battery, mudgards, rack, lights bell, all weather riding. Was on special offer last month at £599 but gone up to £659, still a bargain. For your height, you need a...

there is a technical reason for it, besides the mileage that you can get, 30% more with the 13AH than with 10AH battery. The Bafang SWX02 mid sized motor can take a lot more current than the standard sized motors. The controller on the Santana2 has 18A maximum limit while most bikes have 15A...

GSM Are the later ones better?

BBS01/02 controller costs about £75-£90. You still have to take the motor out, then there is the disassembly. I reckon it'll take at least 1 hour. Contrast that with replacing the HL controller integrated to the base of downtube batteries. The cost is about £35 and the time about 20 minutes.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

like many things about brexit, the objectives are confusing, the Great Repeal won't repeal anything because its effect is to convert all EU laws into ours. Brexit will get the Brits to confront reality. Can they do the jobs that are currently done by EU migrants or will they simply hand them...

warwick is right to point this out. There are always variations. Woosh have sold a lot of bikes to commuters, many do more than 2,000-3,000 miles a year. Last week, a lady commuter in Cambridge sold her second hand 2014 Woosh Petite with 4000+ on the LCD and still going perfectly. The best...

Woosh don't have dealers but they can easily put you in touch with someone local willing to show you their bike. Talk to Hatti.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's worth it! brexit is a stupid move but we are where we are, the big losers at the moment are people with large cash savings. In a way, I much prefer a quick, clean brexit than 2 years of haggling.

    E-Bike Advice Please

woosh had one. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?sport-ts However, it was not selling well. Woosh need to sell at least 100 a year to keep the model going, the Sport TS did not make the number. My personal view is TS bikes are not as practical as ordinary pedelec sensored bikes. The main benefit of TS...

GSM Are the later ones better?

the BBS02 is excellent - but if you have tried to replace the controller in the BBS01/BBS02 (it's practically impossible to repair these internal controllers), you'll come to take the benefit of external controller much more seriously. I wouldn't worry about outside ambient temperature. The...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I hold similar views about brexit. However, I think May is doing the right thing, although that depresses the value of my savings. When I watch on TV how hard the fruit pickers work here, in the UK, I can't stop feeling that they are exploited and made to work so hard, in the kind of jobs that...

GSM Are the later ones better?

Same size. Like AKW said, the GSM needs grease. Woosh re-grease them before sending out. I like the GSM that uses external controller better. You can choose exactly the controller that suits your riding.
