Typical China battery poor power/current share !!!

Sorry I was just wiping the drool off the floor... :p What is good news is that they fit in the HL case. 3P is too little for my needs though. We need on the road testing report now Woosh, how do they hold up on a +10% climb?

Could you give me your opinion on this kit?

The Chinese are good at cheap and easy - they have issues with good industrial design.

    GoSwiss bites the dust

Go SwissDrive were very good quality motors (Swiss design and German manufacturing) and had the absolute best LCD on the market (IMHO) - the ergonomics were remarkable and they were doing colour LCD when others were still doing LEDs... They were priced well beyond reasonable, as were Bionix, and...

    GoSwiss bites the dust

https://www.bike-eu.com/sales-trends/nieuws/2019/01/e-bike-motor-maker-go-swissdrive-liquidated-10135141 "Striking is that both BionX and Go SwissDrive were makers of rear wheel hub motors." Striking is they were both direct drive hub makers...

Could you give me your opinion on this kit?

48v ? If your manufacturer could make a PAS + 48v sine wave controller with Hollowtech crankset and 130 BCD spider you would have a customer at £120. I would also want a seperate LCD connector + battery + motor out.

    GTech ebike tuning?

Change your tyre size (the tyres on the bike). A 6-7% error is well within the speed difference commonly seen even in cars. They seem to be respecting EN15194 to the letter because power is supposed to diminish and cut out before or up to 25 km/h.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Executive summary: The UK - we don't believe in the EU, we want out, well a tiny (or massive depending on...) 4% majority of those that voted do anyhow. In a country with grown up politicians a 60/40 majority is "the will of the people" - we want a deal, we want to keep all the good bits i.e...

Review Cube Reaction Hybrid HPA Pro 500 2017

150 seconds lost over 26 km? A whole 5.8 seconds per km? There must be something wrong!

    Battery layout.

I wont be using spacers so my idea was to solder copper strips (or wire) between the slotted section before spot welding. I just need a solid 17 Amps flow through the battery, six copper connections per series should be plenty?

    Battery layout.

Each of the "H" series bars will be carrying 5 Amps will they not? So if it was spot welded like so: there would be 3 X 5 Amps series (between green and blue) = 15 Amps or am I getting something wrong?

Review Cube Reaction Hybrid HPA Pro 500 2017

Yes I have been going slower, first I thought it was old age creeping in... I think that before you are really fit you try harder, once you get fit everything seems much easier so you settle back and relax. Highly subjective I know, but I think it has more to do with the man than the...

    Wiring

No the rest aren't OK: -the red, blue and black should be connected to the speed sensor - the speed sensor appears to be connected to the PAS wires I guess you have two male plugs and they wont connect, that happened to me with my last controller. Not correctly plugged in I managed to fry the...

Will a legal hub benefit from more amps?

Depends on your cadence, I'm good for 60 km/h in 48:11 if I could pull that ratio (spoiler: I can't any more...). Watt wise 28 mph (45 km/h) only requires 440 motor Watts at the rear wheel so along with my 160 W for a total of 600 or so Watts it is doable. Are you lying down on the cross bar at...
