I’d try decathlon first though. Their 25 quid ones are doing very well for me so far ... https://www.decathlon.co.uk/900-urban-waterproof-cycling-trousers-black-lime-id_8354732.html?_cclid=v3_3d476872-017d-597d-ab6b-43c370db16f9&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqqje1uWo3QIVo7XtCh0IKAXdEAQYAiABEgLXNPD_BwE...

I found you do need cycling specific gortex trousers. Hiking or golfing etc are not suitable reinforced in the bum and knee area Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wet weather gear.

With respect I disagree having commuted all year round with my suit trousers and shirt on. We have 600 staff and two showers often with hour plus queues I’ve done this for 7 years (2 years with 2 miles each way and then last five years with 7ish each way) Cheap trousers are never worth it...

    Loose power connectors

For an immediate , keep it simple solution, try giving the bullets a bit of squeeze with a set of pliers once connected up. And then using electrical tape to further keep them together Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Loose power connectors

Hiya , those are not power cables but the motor phase wires Those bullet connectors are rubbish. I've had plenty of issues over the years I took to simply remove the connectors and soldering direct. If you really want to be able to disconnect then solder on some better connectors ( xt60...

Do we have a “Volt” bike representative among us?

Sounds terrifying not perfect does that battery [emoji15] Volt use bafang ,chinese made electrics. Nothing British about that aspect ! 600 is ridiculous price for a battery. Jimmy at insat can sort you out and maybe fix the one you have....but I wouldn't count on it. From your description I'd...

    Powabyke small bottle battery replacement

Hopefully you can sell on as working still right? Personally I'd go rear or mid drive. Front no easier in my view Your choice is really to buy cheap from China but zero support or returns if any issues. Or same from a reliable European supplier Take a look at Woosh or yose power (Germany)...

    Powabyke small bottle battery replacement

So, everything can be done but it's not quite so easy with those bikes I think they are still brushed motors (2 wires exit rather than brushless which Is the norm ) Batteries didn't have a BMS used high discharge(but low range) cells You'll need good cells AND a good BMS in whatever pack. In...
