    socialism /communism doesn't work.Russia for example still has mass poverty, still has people in positions of privilege in control of the purse strings and very few rights for the ordinary people. Why on earth anyone would think that we would be better off under that is not facing the truth...

    why are they overindulged. Do you begrudge them getting what they have worked for. Suppose you'd prefer to have them put down so you can give the money to some youngsters who don't want to work

    my view is still that after the ref which the politicians gave us, had they accepted the result of the vote and said to the EU, ''we have voted as a country and stand together'' the deal would have been done and we would be moving on. Unfortunately a lot of our politicians are not democrats...

    so basically the thinking is that the uk cannot leave the eu without still being dictated to by the eu, because ireland wants to be in the eu. if ireland left there would not be a problem. So we could use the counter argument that you can't stay in because we want to leave
