    Easi-fit Ebike front hub kit

It's a Pashley Sovereign! Would you like to explain how to convvert one? I've been converting every sort of bike for ten years, and if a bloke turned up with one of those to convert, I'd send him away yo find another bike to convert.

    Freego hawk controller

You will not be able to buy a direct replacement. Freego used several different controllers and control panels. You need ro show us what you have. A photo of all the wires and connectors on the controller will help. Spread them out so that we can see them all, not a birdsnest.

    Pedal sensor problem

It should rotate easily, independent from the outer. The two halves unclip, so pull it apart and see what the problem is. Personally, I prefer the magnet disc type pedal sensors (8 or 10 magnets).

Help! 2010 Halfords Apollo Slant MTB. Conversion?

This one has disc brakes so would be better. All Halfords bikes are designed for maximum rider weight 120kg +20kg of luggage. The electrical kit is about 7kg, so that leaves 133kg for the rider as long as you don't carry any luggage. In actual fact, 120kg +20kg is the test spec. They test that...

    First build battery advice pls

You need a battery that can give at least 25 amps continuous, ideally more than that. The cheaper ones are normally 15A or 20A continuous.

You should look for a bike with disc brakes too.

I'd go for a 48v Q128C motor wheel from topbikekit. Select the 260 rpm one version. You'll have to build your own wheel, as no kit supplier does rims like yours. http://www.topbikekit.com/akm128cst-48v500w-rear-driving-hub-motor-cassette-motor-for-ebike-p-723.html Choose their 20 amp sinewave...

How to add a throttle to a Carrera Vengeance E Spec

What voltage do you measure on the signal wire? it should go from 1.2v to 3.8v when you adjust the throttle. What voltage does 357 relate to? Personally, I'd use the Arduino only to make a 1khzhz pulsed signal all the time the bike is switched on and send it to the green wire, then connect the...

    Ebike 250w questions

You only get max cuurent at low speed. If you're heavy and don't pedal, the motor and battery would get a hard time. There is absolutely no problem to use a throttle to control the speed when pedalling or without pedalling as long as you don't do it all the time.

    Easi-fit Ebike front hub kit

I must admit, that I have stopped replying to many requests for help when people don't show us what they have. They give a catalogue number, name of something or photo of a label and expect that we know every single ebike product in the world. It's very tedious having to do research to try and...

    Help! Knaap Bike

I agree. It's very expensive considering that it has cheap brakes and gears, and you could probably by the electrical stuff as a kit for about £600. If it were a standard sort of Ebike with 26" wheels and the rest of the stuff the same, I'd expect the price to be less than £1000.

141mm is better for a cassette motor. Most are around that size. You need to be more precise about what you want to do with the bike. How heavy are you? How steep and how long are the hills? How muddy is it likely to get? Hub-motor can be like tractors or racing cars, but not both from the...

Sorry, Google fooled me with the wrong picture of your bike. You might be able to fit a standard triangle battery in a bag at the top of your frame triangle. Em3ev make some nice ones. You can also find them on Aliexpress, but I'm not sure pf their quality. Check sizes. Once you have the...

You have full suspension, so how would you mount a battery over the rear wheel? Your triangle looks to be too small for a standard battery. On top of the crossbar looks tricky to me because it isn't straight. Even if you could mount one there, it's too high and will compromise the handling of...
