    This review on the crossfuse.

Can't you borrow his bike and try it yourself?

    Yosepower hub kits.

That would suggest you are using the new C5 settings. C5=6 should give you around 18 amps. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1062393/Kec-Kt-Lcd3.html?page=28#manual

    Yosepower hub kits.

C5=02 on LCD3 is undefined in the manual I have, so may have no effect on current.

Bike great for 6 months now LCD claims no charge on charged battery, motor doesn’t work

That's interesting, I assumed those controllers came unpotted, no glue stuff, as in the photo. Could you post a photo of your one when you have a chance. Are there any signs of water ingress on your controller?

Bottom bracket needed for wisper 905 se 2008

BB is approx. 90mm and needs a 174mm axle.

    need chain for wisper 905

Ah, that was the one part I had no luck finding. :( If your bike is the same, it's got a 90mm BB, so you need a 90 x 174 axle. I used a s/h one from an old scrap bike I was given, which luckily was almost the same. If I had to do it again, I would prob. do a cut'n'shut job, do you know a good...

    What's happening at 50 Cycles?

The problem with putting a gun to someones head is you can never be certain they are being sincere or telling you the truth.

    Yosepower hub kits.

So, I emailed YosePower to ask them about new Lishui controller/LCD they are supplying with their kits. No info on controller, but they are using C500 LCD.

    Yosepower hub kits.

It would appear so, but then the Season bikes on Yosepower site have Bafang motors, so who knows. I wouldn't worry too much, they are quite likely to have been built in the same factory. Hub motors like this are generally pretty robust and don't give any trouble. If it helps, Yosepower's CS...

Have I got too many spacers in?

I could be wrong, I often am, but it looks to me like the frame is the problem, the dropouts are too wide and are being pulled together, not spread. I wonder if his original motor was one of those older, wider Bafangs as fitted to Wispers and Freegos. The OP did say his old motor had a 6 speed...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Season is the brand of ebikes Yose sell, when they have any in stock that is. https://www.yosepower.com/en/category/E-bike-39.html

    What's happening at 50 Cycles?

I think their Youtube channel must have been attacked too. Someone has suggested they are selling 2 Impulse 2 Kalkhoff bikes in the December clearance 2 video.

    Cyclamatic Power cutting out

It all depends if you have the confidence/skill to carry out the work necessary on the cheaper one, if not then it's £30 well spent.

Depends what the sticker on them says. ;)

    Close passing

It gets like that on hear sometimes Jim, if you hadn't noticed. AFAIK, there haven't been any fatalities so far, only bruised egos.;)

    Interesting Electric bike

Love it!:DUtility at it's best, the owner must have an awesome shed to have spawned such a creation and that's one of the busiest pair of handlebars I've ever seen. Those forks do look a bit strange as does the rear caliper mount.

    Yosepower hub kits.

It looks like Yose Power are in the process of changing to suppling Lishui controllers and LCD displays with some of their kits. A good quality brand, but prob. worth noting for the future. It will mean the need for a new LCD for anyone planning controller upgrades.

DVLA registration of an electric bike in Northern Ireland

Ah, OK, sounds like things have improved which hopefully will make the process easier for you. If you haven't already found it, there's a long thread on the plight of pedelecs in NI which you may find interesting. https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/update-on-n-i-e-bike-regs.29093/

DVLA registration of an electric bike in Northern Ireland

Good luck for me too. Didn't someone have this problem a few months back? Law in NI saying that pedalecs need reg. etc. to be used legally, then DVLA rejecting applications saying they don't. We have both camps from NI represented here on the forum, those that own bikes, but don't ride them...

    Lightweight motors

Well, hats off for getting all that into the 160mm motor casing, I'd love to see inside one, but not trying to fix any issues.
