Pedalease 1500w kit NOT running at 1500w please help p

An obvious point, but have you tested this with a fully charged battery? Can you check what custom parameter 'P14' (current limiting) is set to on the LCD display? Finally, does your LCD display allow you to access custom parameter 'P17'?

    Worlds first self charging e-bike

While that's certainly true when it comes to 'emergency' braking, the huge majority of braking is done with lots of time to prepare, e.g, slowing at junctions, hill descents, stop-start traffic, etc. This sort of braking doesn't require an abrupt speed reduction, so doesn't cause loading of the...

There's no need to have the hub on the front. In fact, a rear hub has the potential to provide much stronger regen since you're able to mount the motor much more securely.

This is definitely true from an energy recapture perspective, but overlooks the even greater benefit of regenerative braking - almost zero physical brake wear & maintenance.

    Worlds first self charging e-bike

'Self-charging' (regen) is already realistic, but only if you're already committed to a direct drive motor. At that point, everything required to implement it would be present, so would be silly not to.

    Worlds first self charging e-bike

But that's exactly what regenerative braking is. Engage and pedal and you've got a 'self-charging' bike.

What a load of nonsense. 'Self-charging' ebikes are nothing new (a nonsense concept in itself) and regenerative braking is as old as the electric motor.

    bike laws

Other images show the bike with pedals, which I assume have been removed in the above photo. Is there anything else that would cause it to fall outside of EAPC law? EDIT: Scrap that! I don't think it has any pedal assist functionality whatsoever, so would need a controller upgrade in order to...

    bike laws

Other that a 'twist & go' throttle, the bike looks UK legal. Why not just disconnect the throttle if you're that worried?

    KT Controller problems.

A controller powering a motor in 'torque' or 'current' mode will always spin it at full speed without a load on the motor. Any video demonstrating otherwise is showing a 'speed' controller. To solve your backwards peddling PAS issue, tty setting custom parameter C1 to '5'.

    KT Controller problems.

What PAS sensor are you using? What is the model? How many magnets?

    KT Controller problems.

You can only evaluate torque mode with the motor under load. Lifting the rear wheel in the air and applying just a little power will always make the motor spin at full speed.

    Delfast UK?

No. With a 1500W motor, it can never be UK road legal.

    annoying clicking noise

The noise could be clicking spokes. Try applying a tiny drop of oil to where the spokes cross each other and see if it cures the problem.
