Why car drivers DO NOT see cyclists

There is a general attitude problem against cyclists though, I see it in local area FB groups around me, often based on a (deliberate?) misunderstanding or ignorance of the highway code. All cyclists are accused of jumping red lights and other misdemeanors, whereas a few might. If we do take...

Heaviest haul with the Homcom trailer so far

My daughter got an extra pumpkin for Halloween one time, left on top of wardrobe and forgotten. Till it did what they do, foment in the warmth, explode and spread it's seeds and gloop across the bedroom.

I’m new to this- advice appreciated

A bafang bbs01b in the hard tail would be great. I fitted on to my 2006 hybrid with 42t front cog, great on the tracks and trails around.

I've read that disc brakes are best for an ebike, but not.possible.with a 15yr old hybrid frame with v brakes. Brakes were reasonable, but I do carry lots of shopping and pull a trailer. So got a set of Magura hydraulic rim brakes, a bit of faff on eBay, the "complete set" wasn't but they gave...

Heaviest haul with the Homcom trailer so far

We have a small allotment, took a while, a few days work, to clear the brambles, but then we went No dig, covered the ground with cardboard and 100mm compost, planted potatos, kale, sweetcorn, beans, broccoli etc direct in that top layer. Nothing else to be done but occasional light weeding...

    Help! Chain coming off

although I had set my chain up correctly I did find that it jumped off now and again. I bought a chain guide that fits on the seat tube where a front derailleur would go. It solved the problem. It is possible to use a front derailleur without cable and adjust the stops so it keeps the chain on...

TSDZ2 OSF - Road legal in UK

Isn't legality covered by what is written on the motor? If it says 250w 48v on motor casing then you should be ok?
