48V rear rack mounted battery for YosePower 48V rear hub

They have a UK outlet now. The controllers, LCD's and motors have changed since you bought your kit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ysbatteryuk/m.html?item=333599262428&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

52V downtube packs: EM3EV 35E vs Electron 21700 vs other?

I've had one of these for 3 years with no problem. You can trim the voltage down to 57.4v with the pot inside. Also in 5,6,7 amp versions. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32990050452.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4d3XvavJ

Its Finished - It even works !

I'm confused now o_OAre you saying the connectors on your brake, PAS and LCD are Julet? If so, then there is no problem with the Mutual pinouts on your controller.

I can't see any good info on your KT36ZWSRD controller, but assuming you have a 9 pin motor connector, this duel voltage one will suit. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33004887423.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_groupList.8148356.25.4ed0107fkqnRFA...

I seem to remember Nealh tried fans on his, but still found it cut out, but I don't think it caused permenent damage, he just found waiting for it to cool down a pain. I think there's a very good chance that your controller is wired the same as every other KT, so I don't mean to cause you...

Its Finished - It even works !

You can get a 10 amp, 20amp max. controller the same size as the one you have, but they can be prone to overheat when closed in a bag, ask Nealh. He upgraded to a larger 9 fet 11 amp, 22 amp max. one, I think, which runs cooler, but may not fit your existing bag. 22 amp may be a little high for...

They may not be wired in the same sequence as with the Higo connectors.

I've not come across Mutual connectors, prob best get one from the same supplier to ensure compatability. I've only used the duel voltage 36/48v sine wave ones from PSWPower.

52V downtube packs: EM3EV 35E vs Electron 21700 vs other?

Just had a look at the offerings from Electron, it does look like they have upped their game and improved the spec. of their batteries. If your budget allows and it fits your frame, this is the battery to power an HD motor for as long as you like...

Nice neat build chap, was going to suggest moving your throttle to the LHS, but i see you've kept your front derailleur, maybe twist grip shifters would help the layout? What controller did you use?

52V downtube packs: EM3EV 35E vs Electron 21700 vs other?

Shame Custom Ebikes weren't more helpful, they're a newish company about 3 miles from me, but poor product knowledge is never very reassuring. I can only comment on the 2 packs I had from Electron, both bought cheaply with defective BMS's. The cells were Chinese made Sanyo GA's which were glued...

52V downtube packs: EM3EV 35E vs Electron 21700 vs other?

I would go with EM3EV pack for build quality every time, but as you say 35E's not ideal for running at 6 amps for extended periods. The PF cell would be more suitable, but obviously reduced range. Having seen inside an Electron pack, they are not built anywhere near as well. Might be worth...

    UK compliant converter kit

Those Voilamart kits are not that great as they only offer throttle assist. The larger 500w hub motors are also best avoided unless you have £4-500 to invest in a suitable battery and want to go fast on the flat. Don't skimp on a battery, it's the most important part of the kit. There's not a...

Help! Hi , Carrera vulcan battery charger flashing red.

No, 36v is fine, the charger should switch on at that voltage. The flashing red light suggests a comms. problem between charger and BMS. Can you measure voltage coming out of the charger?

    NOT Charging

Sounds like it's charging ok then, if voltage of pack is 29.4 v after charging, then all good.

Anyone ordered from Deruiz via Amazon?

Deruiz feedback is not great from what I read on their Amazon site. Most Chinese sellers will say anything to get a sale, so I would take what they say with a pinch of salt, they have no control over what happens at UK customs on items over £135, so £60 becomes small bananas if you are caught...

Anyone ordered from Deruiz via Amazon?

If you want one quickly with no fuss, buy from a UK seller. not much of a saving on import now. https://custombuilt-ebikes.co.uk/product/bafang-bbshd-1000w-48-52v-mid-drive-electric-bike-motor-conversion-kit-with-p850c-colour-screen/...

Can't see anything obviously wrong in your photos. What's the voltage of the battery on output connector? Does the light on your charger turn red when connected to battery?

A photo of the battery and charger connectors may help. Have you maybe connected the charger to the discharge lead?
