Thanks for the heads up, nabbed one, and tipping the scales at 18st thought best to grab the red spring. Ordered the spring from Rose bikes, 6.30gbp for the spring 8.90gbp for the postage, yikes. couldnt find it elsewhere so bit the bullet.

Hi all, i finally got rid of the Giant Boulder lost 40 quid on it but better that then it hanging around annoying the mrs. I have now brought a Carerra Vengeance (with mech disc brakes :) ) and have settled on a Bafang BBS02B 48V 750, as the motor for me, partly as being on the heavier side...

Thanks for the clear and concise answer, i think the route im going to go is sell the boulder and start over, disc brakes for me are an absolute must on an ebike for me.
