    36v Control display problem

One can't get Tianjin Santroll stuff, they are OEM only. Sometimes the odd used spare might appear on ebay.

    Kirby e bike kit

Not forgetting with Kirby kit like Woosh , one is getting a battery and UK support should an issue occur. Far easier then dealing with PSWP should an issue arise.

    Kirby e bike kit

One only has to look at the controller and lcd to see it is KT brand. Shame though they only plump for the 6 mosfet controller. I think a 9 mosfet would be better not because it is 22a but because of the extra heat sink ability and larger design. The only downside to the six mosfet...

PSWPOWER - DO NOT USE THEM

I haven't had any issues using PSWP in the past , they have always been pretty good.

    Kirby e bike kit

The KT kit though front wheel drive is one of a few rare kits that use the nice current control. The beauty of the KT current control is the wide range of currents settings used, two low power for range , one medium power, one med to high power and one high power. Having KT future proofs the...

    Muddyfox 36v power display unit

One might be lucky to find a compatible led unit but that will depend if it is user freindly with your bikes main controller unit. Tbh it is best to simply replace controller and display with a better non OEM pairing that will give a better ride . As one has already bought a KT 880 , it...

    Cabling / wiring / one-to-three connections

The incompatibilty with the two connectors is the wiring sequence as I mentioned , a pin on the Julet will be 5v whilst the same pin on a Higo is either Gnd or signal. With the moulded connectors one can't change the wiring unless one chops the wires to rejoin them. If one thinks that one...

    Disappointed with a Pendleton e-bike

No need to subtract anything , just measure the length correctly.

    Cabling / wiring / one-to-three connections

Pics are the way fwd to show us that which you already have. Higo & julet look similar and mate perfectly well, issue is they are incompatible as the wiring sequence isn't the same .

    Disappointed with a Pendleton e-bike

One will need a spoke wrench to fit new spokes so why not simply remove a good one to measure it ?

Throttle not working on DMHC TC 580 Display (assist and walkmode works)

If he has had a fiddle with the display , he has likely disabled the throttle. One usually has to depress the +/- for 10 secs or so to enter in to the settings.

    Bafang brake sensor bypass

Brake sensors won't prolong motor life but may save the controller from failure if one has a throttle short or terrible motor over run.

    Bafang brake sensor bypass

Brake sensors may be needed for crappy systems that have over run or if one has throttle that shorts. I had brake sensors on two early systems because of over run , one was lishui and the other BBS01. I soon after those two found the KT 's and haven't needed them since.

    Dangerous incidents fail.

I see the dearer £26/£27 ones claim 2hrs recording vs 75mins for the cheaper ones.

    Help! Need a compatible controller

Use the search area of the forum for mosfet testing , their will be many entries posted by myself and saneagle . If one of the mosfets is shorted the oine has found why the bike doesn't work.

    Bafang brake sensor bypass

With a KT one wouldn't need them , the instances mentioned with a KT would not need sensors . KT has instant stop with no run on .

    Bafang brake sensor bypass

Brake sensors may be needed on systems with speed control or a bike that utlises a thottle, otherwsie they aren't pearticularly needed. At most one only needs one sensor operational on the rear brake. When I had my BBS 01 I removed them as found them not necessary at all. With my KT I simply...

    Help! Need a compatible controller

Connect everything up and apply the walk assist , if that works then the controller and lcd are fine. If not then one needs to apply fault finding. One thing at a time. Mosfet test next if walk assist doesn't work.
