I think that's what your frame is from. Slightly different rear swing arm and suspension mount to mine.

The large frame bike started out just like that
Xl frame purchased from decathlon as a frame only £179.00 in the first lockdown when complete bikes out of stock

What is going on inbetween the top suspension bracket and the battery? Have you connected those somehow? On the xl i mean.

No mods to the battery or adaptor, draw around the battery on a piece of card board to make a template find the location that the battery will fit without touching the swinging arm under compression
Then re-drill the battery base or mine was 120 mm tall by 365 long 90mm wide re-drilled the metal bottom of the battery mount

Trail and error is the full suspension builders life my xl frame was a 21 inch frame my large is a 19 inch frame
and had to get a custom battery made even though the cardboard just fitted the battery would not

Or try looking for a battery in a small hailong case 90mm x 90mm x 365mm

I am in proces of converting Rockrider 530s. 90 mm height hailong will fit XL frame and i am able to put on and of battery as normal, but you have to use "special move" to slide it in. I mesured L and XL frame in the store and L is 5 mm smaller between downtube and suspension spring wchich is critical section. Chainline is bad on the second/third cog from right so I plan to remove smallest cog and not to use biggest one to accomodate that difference. There are 2 typem mounting plater for hailong. With or without that metal "controlling box". Later one will be easier to put battery I think.

Link to the second type of mount you think will fit?

There is a good example of different mounting plate : 2 types of hailong mounting.
i used that one with controler box wchich is called "new version
" in link.
That "new version" could event fit in L framei suppose. I've choosen version with controller box becouse i plan to hide wires and connectors in that spece to achive cleaner look.
I've bought that particular one 48V 14.4 Ah 21700. In description on page they stated that battery weight is 4.6 kg , on their alliexpress page its 3.7 kg and in reality it's 3.5 kg

Thats an up grade radion that was in the junk box:rolleyes:. Just fitted new twin air shock DNM AOY 36 RC190mm in the large frame and 120mm travel air forks
The only standard decathlon bit left is the frame
Can you post a pic of the L frame with DNM AOY shock? I cant see how the valves wont get in the way.

So wont the valve closest to front of the bike impact with the bracket on compression?

I've been looking around for options on 27.5, full sus donor bikes for TSDZ2/BBS02 and this seems to be the only game in town?

There are lots of lovely used full sus bikes around my area but they all seem to have either insufficient triangle space or an awkward bottom bracket that would require the expense of a BBSHD or a CYC motor.
