You'd have to pay at least 3 x the price for an ebike capable of that, and even then it would need an overhaul after the run. Plus its not even an ebike doing it lmao. Cringe level 5000 ;)

24 miles covered now and the display shows 2 to 3 bars out of 5. Woosh is the onboard battery indicator more accurate than the LCD display?

I don't know TBH.
I have never looked at the battery indicator on the battery, always use the LCD bars.
In general, there are 10V difference between battery 100% full to empty.
If the LCD has 5 bars then each bar corresponds to 2V out of 10V.
You will need at least 1 bar to avoid cutout at assist 1 and 2, two bars to avoid cutout at higher assist.

Hi long time no see. I hope it isn't too late to ask some questions about the fb

Does it use a 6 magnet sensor?

What display capabilities are on the lcd? Just battery life and setup or speed/trip distance etc too. I've never seen that type before.

I'm interested but waiting for the larger version. Also just for your feedback, I love the look of it. And the way it's pretty much a hybrid fatbike/commuter with the slimmer tyres mudguards and pannier rack, the only thing is I think I'd be happier with double wall rims :/ Even though I wouldn't be doing anything especially excessive on it just curbs and muddy rocky trails- it is pretty heavy (I know, not in terms of ebikes but still). And so am I :D

If punched out double wall rims were an option I would take it.

Anyway looking forward to checking the 20" version a bit later

Hello TZC,

yes, it does.

the usual battery voltage, assist level, trip distance and odometer, although Volusia25 found the advanced menu and played with its settings.
The manual for the LCD his here:

the only thing is I think I'd be happier with double wall rims
:(

there is no kevlar tyres for this 3" size at the moment in the same Kenda Kiniption range so you may have to go down to 2.3".

thanks for the reply. I found the bike manual after my post and saw the lcd :)

I imagine the single wall will be fine really. Just thinking peace of mind. Or overkill maybe.. What about the larger wheel version do you know what rims that will use yet? Sorry if I seem impatient. But I want one :p

with the 4" tyres? We only got a small numbers, which were sold out from the shop. I am getting the fat bikes with Bafang MaxDrive next week - they have 4" tyres on them but don't know if the rims are double walled or not. I'll post pictures of the rims later.

Yes, I can wait a week or two. Thanks.

Incidentally, I've just checked the pressure in my fb tyres (Kenda 3") and they only have 17.5psi in both of them. What is the recommended pressure please as it says 40 to 55 on the tyres.

I keep the demo bike at 20psi for riding around the shop.
You can go as low as 12psi.
The ride is very comfortable at low pressure.

we keep spare tyres but I must say, 26 x 3 (or 72-559) tyres are difficult to find.
I only found one other supplier on ebay so far:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/152288937417

There are more in 60-559 and of course 100-559.

Will look into other widths.
