Deleted it as I posted it in wrong thread.

If you don't know who is on EddiePJ's ignore list, where have you been.
I may have been on EddiePJ's list.

The battery is the thing not to skimp on cos however big it is it won't be big enough. I went from a 400 to a 500 and the difference is that the display segments last that little bit longer.

First ride update
one word Fab-u-lous
24 muddy miles and 2402 feet of climbing
2 bars left on the battery readout and this also included me giving my mate a push up the last two climbs back to the van a bit of Ebike assist .

Mastiles lane in the dales pic of my mate Luke on his Fatty who is normally waiting at the top for me Ha Ha
also set this up as a segment on Strava

real shame some water on the cam lens as this was very surreal when the sun appears

The bike was awesome I loved it but the only thing I was not happy about was the tyres had no grip on this terrain so looking for 27.5 Plus tyres with better grip for the winter .

hi did you also consider the LT long travel version? Its sold on the 9 but nots sure if the 130mm travel is enough?
Hi Mr T Yes I did look at the longer travel version but decided 130 mm was plenty for my riding .
I have now done 5 rides on the bike and loving every mile .
todays ride in the Dales was 29 miles 2500 feet of climbing and they were hard miles for the battery used eco and some tour and the battery died 200 metres from the van at the end .
temperature was -1 c for the whole ride

I prefer the look of the grey 130 and to be honest I am not hardcore on the downhills so 130mm will probably be ok for my needs. sounds like you had a good day out today and the range certainly is impressive. I believe the cold weather reduces the range quite a lot?
