Thanks for the message i have seen the bike for sale tho my only concern was over getting a spare battery for it if i was to buy that bike not saying i would need a spare battery so fast but its peace of mind having the chance to obtain a new battery as the bike itself looks very nice .
This design in bikes or the brand A2B are nice also.

what do you like best in the Tonaro?

There are other CD bikes without sourcing problems.

Mostly the Frame shape is very nice with the Tonaro like also some of the A2B range in terms of nice looking frames not the normal shape bar across these bikes really do have a special look to them .

These were the two bikes i was thinking about buying both of them maybe
Tornaro http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tonaro-Unicorn-Electric-Bike-/331845312188?hash=item4d43859ebc:g:DRQAAOSwXj5XF4MF

A2B http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Bike-A2B-Hybrid-26-Brand-New-Bike-absolutely-amazing-value-60-off-/111981861323?hash=item1a12a399cb:g:KZsAAOSwud1XAh6S

Tho how these two bikes are as a comparison i would be unsure if you compared them to each other
also with the factor of my weight being 16stone would they struggle pulling a semi fatty up a hill :)

you should know that they are rather heavy bikes.
The Unicorn you are interested in weighs 30kgs.
I rode it a few years back, it's nice but not exceptional.

ok thats alittle heavy tho i have been using a 48v iped S gen2 250w 59kg to be honest i get fed up with all the strange looks for car owners like what the hell is that moped doing on the path way lol .
Really odd as it seemed all the young kids would understand what it was and also the old ish people above 60 would sometimes ask me where did i buy that from .
With this kinda electric bike it would pulll a 20 stone fatty up the most harsh hills .

I sold it not long ago due to the reason above also tho i have a knee problem i would like to pedal again i find only hills are problems on the flat i need no electric bike due to the strain it puts on my knees for the hills.

The A2B has direct drive motor, great on flat roads but not good on hills.
The Tonaro is very strong on hills but not as pleasant to ride as the A2B.
Both have problems with sourcing spares.
Looking at their prices, the A2B seems to be correctly priced, the Tonaro is a bit expensive for what it is. For comparison, you can pitch the woosh Big Bear against the A2B and the woosh Bali against the Tonaro.

I would never post negatively about a competitors bike, but as the Tonaro is no longer available in the UK I see no problem in doing so now.

We did have a short dalliance with the brand and I know that several people loved them, but personally I thought it was one of the worst electric bikes that I ever rode.

How would the Woosh big bear compare to the Woosh Bali for someone my weight and height and vs the hills and are they both 18inch frames also.

Thanks

the Big Bear is better on undulating roads and gradients less than 12%, the Bali with its CD motor is better for climbing long stretches of mountain roads or when gradient is more than 14%. Other than that, both will suit your height and weight.

the throttle is of the 15mph twist and go type. The throttle usually has a red on/off switch and easy plug at the end of a 6" tail so you can unplug if you take your bike outside the UK.
On the new models, they only work when the cranks turn.

ok as i look for the 15mph kind i think the big bear looks alittle nicer overall and more than likely i shall be ordering one tomorrow was there a reason why the spare battery prices between Big bear and Bali were different 299 or 349 both 15ah
ah so you mean because of the change in law from 1st jan 2016 throttle law is why you no longer sell the 15mph twist and go type all bikes are now fitted with the starter 4mph until you pedal ok the law is a shame then :)
Sounds like they want us all in cars buying petrol and tax etc to me but thats just me thinking this maybe.
