So around 9.5W power consumption at full power.

I'm really interested to see the power consumption of the 12 LED light that you have on order.

My pair of 6 LED lights consume around 36W in total, so I am expecting your 12 LED unit to be about the same.

the leds are 10w each x11 but doubt they will come anywhere near that as the thing would just boil in the heat with that much juice going in to it.

should be here any day now and this meter also has its own batt cut off so set it to 3.1v ;)

Tried mine for first time last night. Very impressed with light. Only downside is that the buttons on the light are a bit unresponsive. Other than that excellent.

Mine arrived yesterday (thanks for the heads up d8veh.)
Just one question as there was no paperwork with the light:
When charging, will the led on the charger turn from red to green when the battery pack is fully charged?

Regards,
Andy.

Well done d8veh, mine was tested for the first time last night. Was out for just over an hour, off road most of the time so light was on full. Using it as a head light to complement my Hope4. Found the beam has a good throw and is not too spotty. There is a bright central area with a not so bright halo without too much contrast between the two. The Hope is a slightly better flood light but this new one could be used by itself or better yet 2 of them, one on the bars and one on the head. Let's see if the batteries last as long as my 8 year old Hope.
