That will be a very bright light.

I have a hand lantern with just 1 of these T6 in and it is like a white laser beam.

I just wish that they would stop adding the flash mode to all Chinese torches.

High and low or even a medium as well but NO FLASH.

Just had a quick look on candlepower forum, they reckon less than an hour for a single T6 on an 18650. This light has 9 or 11 10w Leds.
Time to do some sums.18650 high power let's say 3000mAh these Leds pull 3A each, that is one flat (actually dead) battery per hour per Led!

OK 1.13 hours to totally flat per Led then. Don't forget you have 9 or 11 Leds, do you have 9 or 11 batteries?

Maybe you don't understand the units 3400mAh = 3.4Ah = 3.4 amps for 1 hour = 1 dead never to be revived battery. A T6 led can draw 3 amps.

phill has the same cells and pack and gets the same run time as me with his light.

i have a batt monitor coming as well so will find out 1 way or the other.

either way it will out perform any 18650 cells from china there are 3600 ma cells but cant find any to buy.

tesla use the 3400 cells in there s model cars

Phil doesn't have 11 3A lamps on his though! It makes no difference where the cells come from of they are 3400mAh they can not give more than 3.4 amps for one hour.

my original pack i had with my light wont even last a hr on full beam the Panasonic ones out perform them and last hrs longer.

if you think it dont matter where the cells come from you are wrong the 18650 cells from china are fake thus why they dont last very long.

You really don't have a clue what you are talking about. Look at the specs of the light 9 or 11 3 amp Leds your battery will only run 3.4 amps for one hour that is what 3400mAh means.

Or maybe you have invented free Energy!

What is a cree x3 whatever it is it's not the same as 11 t6s, what would it have done with 11 x3s?

give it a week and ill test it and post the result i still have the old cells but if you think they will only last an hr then these things will last about 10mins

Finally something we can agree on! Won't be as bad if you keep it off full power though.
Maybe you would be better running the light off your bike battery, might shorten the range a little though.

German law states that lights must operate from a dynamo, with operation from a battery being optional.

It's a ridiculous law IMO.
