Had a look at your case again and I think it has built in what you want.

You can charge the batteries in place using a wall charger through the standard plug, then every so often take the cells out and use your proper charger to bring balance back to the force when you are not in a rush.

I think it has a capacity meter etc via the 3 LED's as well.

Soon everything will be made in China, Oh sorry I am 20 years too late.

Ok I just bought one, which should arrive around a week or so after our one pound bike bags from amazon.

When it arrives, I'll do a comparative video review versus my current light. This one. Which is 6600 lumens, allegedly.

same as mine then lasted last winter but my pack is near death now.

dont think i ever got 2hrs full beam out of it tho.

my new pack will be 3400 x4 if i can get it to work.

i goes on the seat post so no good with a bag but fires two laser lines each side of the bike
