Here is the final design for our new Wisper Wolverine, our full carbon road bike with the new Fazua motor. Tooling is now underway, the bike will be available in 4 sizes.

The electronic Shimano Ultegra R8070 Di2 Disc Groupset is amazing and completes our latest offering. The Wisper Wolverine will be available in early, 2019 we will finalise the price very soon but expect it to be in the region of £5,750 - £6,000 with full carbon kit and carbon wheels.

The Wisper Wolverine will weigh in at about 12kg with motor and battery, the motor and battery can be removed as one, leaving a 7.5kg road bike with absolutely no motor drag at all. Yes it's like floating on air!

On a separate note, the Pineapple folding bike tooling will be finished this week and our first container of carbon eMTBs will arrive next month.

All good!

All the best, David

Great machine David, a real eye opener among e-bikes.

Is it going to be only a UK/EU legal pedelec or derestrictable for the US and similar markets?

Hi Tony, thanks!

We are very proud of the bike. Jeremy our ex Team GB rider has spent a lot of time on it. The version we are using in the UK is 250W but we can program to 400W for the US. We will be showing it at Eurobike and will be aiming at the European market first.

All the best, David

Looks really stunning. Will you be looking at doing an alloy version with mudguards etc for touring ??

Hi Crockers, thank you. Yes we will. It will have a less expensive group set, alloy frame and wheels with the facility to fit mudguards. A lot more affordable too.

Looks good. Are you planning to offer various configurations of wheels, groupset, etc. A mechanical groupset and some good alloy wheels would drop the price by a few hundred? Any plans to offer a single ring up front, or do you think the roadies are wedded to double chainsets....?

Hi Kwozzymodo,

You have read our minds!

All our Wisper Pro products will next year be available as frame sets. That is to say frame and motor system with battery (and forks in the case of the Wisper Wolverine road bike). This means, as you say, the choice of group set, wheels, bars etc etc and suspension forks on Wolf and Wildcat mountain bikes, can be chosen and fitted by our customers.

We haven’t announced this officially yet. It would be interesting to get some feedback?

All the best, David

please correct me if I am wrong but the Fazua motor appears to have no sensor attached to the bottom bracket? no rotational pedal sensor, no torque sensor, no speed sensor that I could see?
