Informative, nice thread.Define bragging.
Is my build log bragging or informative?

So, what we're really debating isn't illegality or legality but rather appropriateness of intended use.Informative, nice thread.
The Tongxin mentioned early on isn't a very powerful motor by e-bike standards anyway, there are legal e-bikes sold by major names which use far more powerful setups. My legal one has a bit more power than that top figure you mentioned.

That's another great post Tillson. It's wasted on the moronic minority among us though who believe they are clever enough to choose which laws they wish to obey and which they don't. The arrogance of these cretins is breathtaking sometimes. It seems there is no shame any more!..........and this, members of the forum, is why we are going to lose the ebike freedoms that we currently enjoy. No matter what you advocate, there will always be people who will do what they want to do, when and where they want to do it. They are cocooned in a strongly held belief that only their immediate personal needs are important and that the consequences of their actions on other people are of secondary importance. Any attempt at pointing out the ileagl nature of their actions is usually met by them quoting examples of wrong doing by other people. They try to find cases of law breaking that are in, their opinion, more serious than their own. Armed with this, "evidence" they then assume the moral high-ground and contrast their trivial law breaking with that of more serious crime committed by real villains.
The truth is that theses people are damaging the reputation of ebikes and their users. As they continue to grow in number, the rate of damage will also increase. And the awful thing is, as in a lot of other areas of society, they simply do not care. As long as they can continue to point the finger at others and satisfy their own immediate desires, they will do so.
No need to be offensive. That's another great post Tillson. Very true. The 70 mph limit was introduced when the braking, handling, stability, lighting, mirrors and crash protection of the average car were pathetic compared to that of the cars we have now. Clearly if viewed as a measure of safety it was either wrong then or it's wrong now.The law says it is illegal to do 80mph down the M55 at 2am. What it doesn't say is that it's unsafe to do 80mph down the M55 at 2am.
I don't agree, polite free speech comes first. Any action should be taken against the offensive, not as a punishment of everyone.I would like to see the thread locked now. It's been nothing but devisive. Maybe that was intention by the OP from the start.
I concur.I don't agree, polite free speech comes first. Any action should be taken against the offensive, not as a punishment of everyone.
