For anyone who has a designer Mercedes Smart eBike, the batteries have now been reduced in price from 600 Euros to the equivalent of £330 at dealers in the UK, I bought a spare, rude not to at that price.

And for anyone considering a Smart eBike it's a great opportunity to get a bike and spare battery at a fantastic price. The UK Dealer confirms that warranties and servicing will continue with them.

It's available at any delerahip, it can't be more easy than picking up a phone and ordering one, what's up with you lot, are the electric impulses affecting common sense :)

Why do you have to insult other members every time you post, are you really that insecure? (still wondering why you were not banned for your first thread)

I don't know what to make of Smart Ebiker. One moment, he implies he has a boat that can do 40mph, not cheap if you watched the Monaco boat show last night and yet, he bought himself a 'top notch' but cheap bike. And another moment he claims his bike can do 63 miles on a full charge then why did he feel the need to buy a second battery?

boat has to do with any of this, I mentioned it fleetingly without any thought then I get sad people researching things and bringing up questions, all I can say is that you must have very sad lives!

Anyway my boats top speed is 40 KNOTS not mph, so that shows more drivel being spouted, as for a second battery, I spend the summer in St Tropez and cycle the great cycle routes of the Cote D'Azur, this lets me cycle in the morning, return for lunch and a swim and go off again in another direction after lunch, I have a second battery so rotate them on charge, this also lets me have one full at any one time and use the second in short bursts to deplete it rather than just topping them up.

I would appreciate it if we stuck to bikes, this is a cycle forum right? if some of you are so insecure that you need to pick away at bits that people write then carry on and make total fools of yourself, but don't expect me to take any nonsense because I won't, plain and simple.

Now I suggest that you stay on topic or kindly don't respond to my posts, I am posting to assist others with the little knowledge I have on one particular bike, it might not be to everyones taste so if it isn't go and and take your sad little life elsewhere and dig, poke and analyse every word that someone else says, its one great way to pi$$ people off so much so that you don't get to know them because they are afraid to mention anything!

I forgot to say, just so you can sleep at night, when I was buying the bike I had no idea it was cheap nor was I concerned, I could not find one in the UK so just ordered one from a Mercedes dealer in Germany and had it shipped over, it was only when the cost from Euros was changed to £ sterling I realised that they are not all the same price around Europe, as such I came on here to tell others as I thought the price I got it at was a fantastic bargain. Read my other posts please before coming out with claptrap!!

I'm not the one that is insecure, look at all the saddos who are researching my posts and what I said trying to pick holes in it, also slagging off the bike, quite frankly its laughable, I am the one who is secure, I can do whatever I want when I want and buy what I want, it really is interesting seeing how society is nowadays with jealous bitchy people, anyway I will continue to expose them and show them up for what they are.

All I have done is buy an eBike, come on etc forum to share the experience mainly for others who were on the fence with regards to getting one like I was, start to see through various threads and posts the type of people in this industry slagging off other fellow dealers in public to fit with their agenda, then the onslaught on me started, well you are messing with the wring person so I suggest you ignore my posts and leave them for those that may want to read my experiences.

I now have the issue where I have to keep defending myself against saddos who are picking and poking over every word I post including every spec of my new bike and having a go, well I will be ignoring these people from now on as its not fair on those that want to read my posts. There seems to be a mafia type mentality on here that is doing no good for the industry, it should not matter what bike you have or want, everyone is different, so don't go slagging people off, if it was my forum you would be long gone!

If if was your forum you would be the only member, and I bet you’d still manage to fall out with yourself.

C,mon mods, someone's gotta step in......
The webmaster/mod/site owner/whatever has previously ejected members but not for being dickheads.

I think if member comments cause an advertiser to pull out and the site loses revenue, then that is more likely to inspire serious action. The last time I remember an event which may have provoked such action concerned a couple of guys, Eddy O and Indu O or similar and that was quite some time back. That didn't go down well universally and some other frequent contributors withdrew from inputting their views thereafter, Jeremy being one of note.

Clearly, the management avoid intervening in little online spats as most fizzle out fairly quickly with no real harm done so expulsion is something of a rarity.

Didn't Banbury Frank/Xipi go the journey at about the same time?

Pity, he would have had some good discussions with KTM Col about derestricted bikes.

But I'm pretty sure that if an advertiser opens a fake account, poses a member and then posts false information which promotes their product, that's ok.

Smart ebiker....you left the other thread without finishing our conversation....out of interest what boating qualification do you have.
We were talking about cruising to Guernsey and I asked whether you favoured the western or northern approach. I bet your rapid boat storms down the Little Russell channel at 40 knots. I suspect you have roughed it on the visitors pontoon at St Peter Port waiting for the lock gates to open.
