You might find she's a little late, I'm dining with her for lunch and I know she likes a few brandies after, so I would make it late afternoon! Not me, I'm far too busy cleaning the silverware.

I have actually done that when I had a boat at St Catherines dock, at 40knots you don't leave any wake, now there is a speed restriction so its not doable (unless of course you are the RNLI or a Police motor launch), we had a BBQ on the stern of the boat passing the Houses of Parliament which was very pleasant, didn't pick up the Queen thoughPlasmadaddy said:You'll be yachting at 40 knots down the Thames to collect her no doubt.
Then back to the estate for a spot of luncheon?
There was never any argument between myself Eddie0 and Indalo and in fact Eddie was right on many occassions,he just had a blunt way of expressing his views.Tom, Eddie and I were friends and continued communications very long after he was barred from the forum. In fact I even posted news and information on his behalf a number of times, stating I was doing that each time. But I can assure you that what KudosDave has said is true. There were repeated warnings and undertakings given, but finally the last straw occurred when Indalo and Eddie had some posted communications in the old forum on which they thought was a private channel but was in fact public. Apparently what was posted by them was the last straw. Trade member involvement wasn't the only element, there was a big personality clash between Eddie and a well known member, sometimes too vigorously expressed.
From when I joined as the first member, Russell Scott who founded and runs this forum has always been extremely reluctant to ban anyone, in my view too reluctant on occasions, but it's his forum to be lenient with of course.
Finally to show that there was no ill-feeling between Eddie and KudosDave, i'm posting this link to a post of mine, passing on a message from Eddie. The last post below that also illustrates my continuing contact with Eddie.

Nice interesting looking bikeThis is my other set of wheels. It's my Harley Davidson Street Glide.
It's considerably more expensive and "designer" than your Mercedes / Daimler whatever you want to call it e-bike.
I've ridden it all over Europe and had some amazing trips and met some amazing and interesting people along the way.
I've never felt the need to show off or big myself up, nor have I felt the need to talk about how much I've spent on it or how beautiful my wife / partner is.
Your posts became boring a long time ago, they're just not funny in the slightest.
When I join a new forum, I do it to glean useful information and perhaps make some new friends.
Why don't you just do the same? If you can't, go somewhere else to post your rubbish - we'd all be a lot better off for it!
