‘Once in a Century’ Proof Settles Math’s Kakeya Conjecture
The deceptively simple Kakeya conjecture has bedeviled mathematicians for 50 years. A new proof of the conjecture in three dimensions illuminates a whole crop of related problems.

Undocumented commands found in Bluetooth chip used by a billion devices
These backdoors are inherent to all ARM chips. As the chip executes one instruction per cycle, they have in one word the opcode and the data. The number of possible opcodes run into millions. Not all opcodes are documented in the chip's manuals, leaving the possibilities of using some for backdoors. It's a common occurrence in all cpus, just that if the chip is made by Chinese firms, we automatically see the hand of the ccp.

I know Putin doesn't drink much at all, but I will hazard a guess that this evening, he and his henchmen will be cracking open crates of the very best Champagne, that their ill-gotten money can buy.

After the phone call with Trump about how much of Ukraine he can keep and how crippled Ukraine and its democracy must be in the future, Putin and the gang will be laughing their heads off, most likely.

Of course, Trump is so dangerously unstable, that it is possible he will fly into a rage if Putin doesn't accept his initial proposals....

Who knows ..... ?

No one, because let's face it, we are all dealing with a disturbed, irrational, narcissist - a man who can't go two minutes without announcing that he is God's gift to humanity, and whose primary concern is ALWAYS that his intellectually challenged admirers, keep on admiring him. That is all he cares about. He has no principles that are not derived from that core issue - his shining personality, wonderful intellect, brilliant social skills and his flock of admiring fools.

Bike illegality question.

Just had a bloke pull up riding this -

He was propelling it under throttle only, so in passing I said to him under throttle it was illegal and classed as a moped.
He became a little irate, and apparently I wasnt the first to inform him of that, but was adamant it was totally ok.

He was an older gentleman so I let the swearing at me slide, but Im pretty sure I'm right in this, and as you all know by now its not often I'm wrong about anything ;)

So what exactly is the gig on throttles ?

Previously, throttles were ignored.
very recently, the police is out to stop riders who appear to use the bike as a motorbike, not pedalling at all. My high street got the treatment yesterday.
It doesn't matter if you have grandfather's rights for your bike, they'll tell you to remove the throttle and pedal or else, they'll take your bike first.

You fulfilled your duties and obligations. If he doesn't want to listen, that's up to him. He needs to disconnect the throttle to make it legal if it gives power when he's not pedalling.

There's always the possibility that you misjudged the situation unless you can confirm that he was making continuous progresss uphill or something like that. Are you sure that he wasn't free-wheeling? I saw someone on a Mirider, who looked like he was throttling along, and I said something to him, but a Mirider doesn't work like that. He was indeed free-wheeling.

I should think that bike is pretty awful to pedal hence the speed device , however set up as it is it doesn't comply with EAPC regs so is currently a moped and thta means it is a motor vehicle.

The gig on so called throttles which are just speed devices because there is no throttle variation , it is on or off. The gig is EAPC'S produced pre 2016 they are legal , post 2016 they are illegal though are allowed as walk assist mode which is 4mph or 6kmh some EAPC's the walk assist mode is activated instead by holding down the minus pad.
The only real gig in town to be legal is SVA approval at a test station and a V5 certificate ( this is a one off procedure so not onorous ).
