Modern Norway was built and industrialised when we started to utilize rivers and waterfalls to produce electricity. Hydropower is still the backbone of the Norwegian power system, and will remain so in the foreseeable future.

) to Europe, and uses the money to set themselves up with almost 100%, state owned, hydro-electricity AND a Sovereign Wealth (apologies again
) fund for every citizen to the tune of $1.4trillion or $244,000 for every man, woman, and child. Wealth, not Debt.
