When even her own party doesn't support her, she's got no chance:Harris will beat Trump.
She has to earn the nomination and I think she will. Obama may want his wife to run. When even her own party doesn't support her, she's got no chance.
Michelle Obama might just pull it off.She has to earn the nomination and I think she will. Obama may want his wife to run.
Harris lacks of charm but that can be taught.Michelle Obama might just pull it off.
These qualities may indeed be hers, but you have taken no notice of my points about whether she is electable and what it is which appeals to the average voter. As I said earlier, it is not the already converted activist base you need to appeal to to win an election - it is the mass of ordinary voters.Harris lacks of charm but that can be taught.
I know what people think of clever clogs but she is a doer though, with a better brain than Biden's and M. Obama's.
Trump's assassination attempt is no longer in the news. That should worry him a lot. When the spotlight turns over to the Democrats, discussions about policies will become much more important than personality, where Harris will be more at ease. These qualities may indeed be hers, but you have taken no notice of my points about whether she is electable and what it is which appeals to the average voter. You still don't engage with reality. SHE DOES NOT APPEAL TO ORDINARY VOTERS. However much you want her to beat Trump - she won't. She is unappealing.Trump's assassination attempt is no longer in the news. That should worry him a lot. The november election will boil down to just 7 swing states, that hasn't changed. Biden would lose those, Harris can only improve democrates chances because Harris would turn a lot of those women's, blacks' and asians' votes for trump or at least, cause them not to vote.
What republican voters refuse to accept is socialism is not bad for the stock market.
Watch the polls and the stock market.
Ghost said:She is not popular. It may be that she is clever and competent, but if people outside the inner folds of the Democrat Party don't warm to her, she will never get the mass of the American population to vote for her in the numbers required to win. It isn't the 'true believer Democrats' you need to convince, it is the mass of the population at large.
Too many politicians the world over forget this. It is why Labour lost so badly in 2019. outside of the party fold, and outside London, ordinary people up and down the country could not stomach Corbyn.
Sunac is another example - quite apart from the fact that he had a huge uphill task because of the previous incompetence of Boris ans Truss (a massive task) the fact that Sunac is clever and thoughtful, and came originally from an ordinary middle class family, were nowhere near enough to cut it. People just didn't like him enough. He did not look like a man you would follow across nomans land. You MUST have a candidate with big appeal, not just brains and policies, if you want to win. Harris has no appeal and will not win.
I despise Trump for reasons I have often expressed, but I think he will inevitably win.
Harris is very much like Starmer. Slow and methodical. You still don't engage with reality. SHE DOES NOT APPEAL TO ORDINARY VOTERS. However much you want her to beat Trump - she won't. She is unappealing.
We'll talk again about this in November. Then, one of us can apologise to the other for being an idiot.Harris is very much like Starmer. Slow and methodical.
Harris will win because she can learn quickly how to read the teleprompter while Trump will now be the oldest candidate in US history.
In a straight debate, Trump v Harris, she won't stutter, lose her train of thought, use wrong words like Biden has a few weeks ago. It will be Trump who will be taking Biden's place.
Did you see this? Was it a mistake, in which case you're wrong, or did the truth slip out, in which case you're more than wrong?Harris is very much like Starmer. Slow and methodical.

she said 'reduce population' which the critics latched on.Did you see this? Was it a mistake, in which case you're wrong, or did the truth slip out, in which case you're more than wrong?
