Why do you ask? You know they are the legitimate government of Afghanistan, Afghanistan is a member of the UN, COP is organised by the UN.No comment
You can look it up at companies House.Who is this "company", anyone looked up their ownership in companies House, mmm, is it Ed?
So that's wherebthe £22billion quid is disappeared to?You can look it up at companies House.

While you are at it, look up also NESO, which is also owned by the government.
Ed Miliband set it up but the government owns it.

Bear in mind the Water requirements to just keep the Flaps clean of all that Sahara sand n dust that keeps finding its way around the world onto our shiny cars. ParticularlyIf you want to do solar power generation. there is a VERY obvious place to put it ... The Sahara Desert This makes the Sahara one of the most exposed places on Earth to the sun's rays.
I really have difficulty figuring out where your hatred of Ed Miliband comes from. Did it matter to you what he eats or doesn't eat?So that's wherebthe £22billion quid is disappeared to?
Another "Dead Head Ed" company. Maybe he's better at eating sandwiches than bacon rolls? Is this his new job? Tea & Sandwiches boy? V
the production site is by the West coast of Morocco. Half of it will be wind, half solar.Bear in mind the Water requirements to just keep the Flaps clean of all that Sahara sand n dust that keeps finding its way around the world onto our shiny cars. Particularly
And guard them?
Just wondering
Why would i consider bringing solar generated electricity across the Med when wecould use an entirely undeveloped tidal system?I can remember from environmental studies at university 50 years ago, they told us about towing icebergs to the Sahara and Arab countries for fresh water. Like your idea, it sounds great until you try it.
Anyway, why would you want to bring electricity all the way from the Sahara, when there are terawatts in the sea all round our country just waiting to be brought in? Have you ever tried sailing in the Bristol Channel or fishing from Southend pier?
Not a good measure. You can increase your score by 50 or more points by doing lots of tests.I have an IQ of 142 last time I was tested, so I'm at the right end of that distrbution. I would have voted for Trump if I was in the USA.
The only barrier to almost infinite carbon free power is political instability and the will to invest. The two are intimately entwined of course.the production site is by the West coast of Morocco. Half of it will be wind, half solar.
The West coast of Morocco has very consistent wind speed and sunshine records. Water desalination should also be easy enough being by the sea. Recent progress has reduced the cost of desalination a lot.
What i hate about him is that he fronts up ridiculous bonkers schemes that can not work and in line with all PPE grads, talks and talks as if the ridiculous schemes can work. Power supply is FAR too important to be put in the hands of such an unqualified ar seI really have difficulty figuring out where your hatred of Ed Miliband comes from. As for the money, I am not sure how much has been spent but it can't be much until it buys into some commercial projects. GBE is only an investment vehicle like the Norwegian Soverign Fund. Shouldn't we wait for some result at the next budget?
All the water around our country is moving. In some areas it moves very fast. In the Severn estuary, the tidal rise is about 10 metres, so as well as kinetic energy, it has huge potential energy. All it takes is for someone to extract it, and yes there are tidal energy extraction schemes presently working in the UK. Perhaps you should check before making yourself look silly. Why would i consider bringing solar generated electricity across the Med when wecould use an entirely undeveloped tidal system?
Well, because concentrated solar power works extremely well already; that region has wall to wall sunshine 95% of the time; ultra high voltage dc cables can get that power to rurope with 5% loss, and the solar insolstion id srount 2.5 kw per meter at that latitude.
Now let me think.... where is there a tidal system that can do that? Err.... i don't think there is one - no. Only a few short lived experiments with nodding ducks that break down all the time.
Did you look at the video?
Morrocco and other Saharan states will be the new Saudi. They will be making vast royalties powering Europe.
Tidal power is intermittent, a rough environment, and entirely unready.

Last year, the world added 447 GW in solar capacity. So replacing 25GW capacity in 10 years for the UK is not far fetch. The current carbon free generation offering REQUIRES at LEAST 25 Gwatts of gas turbine backup.
I see they are also going to seize local authority pension funds and throw them into the low carbon black hole. Watch that space.
