I'm sitting in my office working out our new prices. It looks like between 6% and 14% depending on the make and model.
As mentioned earlier, fortunately we still have a good stock of Wispers, they should last for three or four weeks. These bikes will not be effected by the increase and maybe, by then, the £ will have bounced back and we won't need to implement the new price list. I felt it was only fair to those who are thinking about investing in a Wisper to let you know.
The same calculations will be happening in offices all over the UK. Whether it's food, fuel, clothing, cars, mobile phones, computers etc etc.
Fortunately our bikes are probably underpriced at the moment and even after the increase will represent excellent value for money.
One good thing for the bike business is... as people start feeling the pinch and fuel prices start to rise. The benefits of owning an EBike will become more and more obvious.
Yesterday I was chatting to a good friend and customer (who happens to be a Brexiteer). He is reporting a strong increase in sales and interest. We are today experiencing the same all over the country.
