Bargain at $4 grandHmmm, looks like just another crank drive until you realise the battery is in there too.

The rolling eyes denote irony, you lowlander!Well for us Yorkies that does NOT constitute a bargain at $4K !
Of course if you live in them thar hills you probably need to splash the cash in order to get anywhere on an eBike!
I think they have a policy of only putting bike that are actually for sale on the website.Strangely no mention of this in the Optibike website. Someone else using their name?
I was thinking the same, there certainly isn't room for a 36v/15ah one as quoted.Hi its a fake there is no battery on the red bike in the photo

A coy American company? That's a first!I think they have a policy of only putting bike that are actually for sale on the website.
Maybe your right, as there seem to be zero info on bike other than a couple of pictures, and a expensive price tag, one to be wary of, rather than to be in awe of. or maybe the battery fits on, or in the handlebars ?Hi its a fake there is no battery on the red bike in the photo

Thats the way I read it too, but it just doesn't look as if there's enough volume in the BB casing to squeeze in all that capacity. Also the weight seems too lowIf you have a read of their post and photos on facebook from their visit to interbike they are saying the battery is in the bottom bracket assembly and is 36V 13AH and the bike weighs 30lbs. Quite amazing if true
