Hi everyone what mileage do you consider to be low mileage for a 2016 ebike? i understand the battery age is an issue too but just asking for opinions please?

any bike that old id rule out the batt as will need replacing or a recell if a dongle has been used on the bike the mileage could be way higher than the display shows.

Interesting question, but even more variables for a bike than a car. I'd call below 500 miles a year low. I'm sure many people would say that is absurdly low, but also sure there are quite a lot out there that haven't done 500 miles total in the 4 years.

It isn't so much age on the battery but how it's been kept. On a very low mileage bike the battery may well have been unused and undercharged for quite some time which will have done it no good at all.

Welcome
I agree with all thats been said
But if its cheap enough and in good condition it might be worth a punt , would need to be cheap thou factor in the cost of a New battery to gauge that .

I bought my 2018 Cube with 2,700 miles on the clock, but it had been kept immaculately. It really was as good as new. If it's a cheap bike, poorly maintained, it could fall apart after a few hundred miles.
