Yeah I tried both Bosch performance and Yamaha at sherwood pines late last year at a haibike test day. I preferred the Yamaha more that time because it felt more instant and pokier. One of the main reasons for looking at the 2016 Bosch was the 500Wh battery and the little extra torque but the xduro allmtn Rc costs £3800 and the Sduro Rx costs £3700 but gains better brakes, dropper seat post and the E.I suspension. ( bit of a no brainer really ).
The new Bosch would have to be much better for me to consider it, I am off to the 2015 cycle show at the nec in September and Raleigh came back to me saying that they will have the new 2016 haibikes there but no response on if they will be there to ride as of yet.
Have you tried a Kalkhoff too?

So is the new Bosch cx motor more powerful than the Yamaha do you think? Just wondered as I'm not sure which one to go for. I have a haibike with the yamy motor at the moment but just wondered if I would notice any difference in the new Bosch?
Can't answer that one, but I can confirm that my bike that has the Bosch Performance motor, certainly has more climbing grunt than my bike with an Active Line motor. I can only assume that the CX Motor would see the same leap forward, but I'll just have to wait to find out, when I get the chance to ride one.

If you order an Sduro allmtn Rc from http://www.mhw-bike.com/ it will cost you £2079.77 with free UK shipping.http://www.mhw-bike.com/haibike-sduro-fullnine-rc-29-400wh-36v-schwarz-cyan-weiss-matt-2015-3544
The Rx is £2459.37 far cheaper than UK prices.http://www.mhw-bike.com/haibike-sduro-fullnine-rx-29-400wh-36v-schwarz-rot-weiss-matt-2015-3545
Another pedelec forum member ordered one from there just last week and saved himself £700!
Wish I could afford one for myself especially at these prices.

Thanks for the advice, I was looking at European prices but its the warranty that bothers me, it's the case of sending it back if anything went wrong.
Plus I have now had the go ahead at work to buy through the proc2w scheme, the Sduro allmtn Rx is £3700 here in Britain but I would sacrifice £210 from my salary every month and end up paying just £2520 for it, saving approximately 32% on list price and I don't have to fork out the full amount in one go.
Martin at the ebike shop uses this scheme along with several others UK shops.

Torque alone is meaningless. With the correct gearing, I could make the motor which drives the second hand on my wrist watch produce more torque than a Bosch motor, or any Ebike motor for that matter. It would be more meaningful if the manufacturers quoted T Nm at W rpm for example. Then you would get an idea of how the motor will perform on the bike.
Kind of what I meant..

The new CX motor delivers significantly more kick than both the Performance line and Yamaha motors. It is pointless debating this online until you get the chance to ride it, the first drop of new bikes should be with Haibike dealers in October, subject to Haibike's new FIFO order system. I honestly think some riders will prefer the current options over the CX, simply due to the aggressive delivery of its power.

North West.
Have been considering the "Cube Cross Hybrid Race Allroad 500" can be bought in the UK for around £2k and features the Bosch CX 250watt 75nm motor, and has the 500watt battery.

We have a few steep roads around here, which I can just about climb with my Rohloff Bike, but hoping an Ebike will make the hills that much easiar.
