People wouldn't notice it's electric apart from the speed.

is that a seat on the back lol my sis 205kg she sit on the back of that it will go nowhere ;)

xDuro with dongle gets my vote. Keep those pedals turning and no one will be surprised you are doing over 40 kph.

Yeah I'm definitely thinking a dongle would be the safest and best way. Why the xduro over the kalkoff though? Both nice premium bikes, both same power, both take dongles but the kalkhoff has the bigger battery? Any advantages I'm missing?

I saw several different Kalkoff models in the flesh when I was up in Nantes for Christmas. Very nice bikes, great looking build quality but I have read too many scary things about the motors breaking recently.

The bars, flat bars are not very comfortable if you have a hilly ride. At the very least you would need to put some bar ends on so that you can get down flat in your downhill sections.

The Giant road e+1 I have seen also, very sexy bike.
