you want some Energy Saving cfl lights for your house that give off enough light to see.

stick that in it and you will see the light ;)

or get a big one but you will need to change the fitting to use it.

Battery box arrived so I am ready for a dry night to try the lights..

Frame bag carries..
Spare tube, 2 tyre levers, co2 pump and battery.

The other wire wrapped around the bars is to power the gopro ftom the intuvia usb out but I think I can use the new battery usb female for that.. can't I sw?

phill just keep an eye on the temp of the light as you are putting 8.4v in to it and is brighter with the pack on it.

tho it should be fine out in the cold of night mine got a tad hot inside when testing ;)

I like the look of handlebar additional accessories bar Phill. How is it in real life?
Excellent. The problem is that if you like gadgets on rhe bars there isn't much room. The extension bar came from China cos I couldn't find it in the UK with two supporting bars. The ones with one bar will be a problem because my bars are tapered and things tend to slide down the taper so 2 bars stood that.
I have tipped the light forward for a better view

You might also notice that the lamp is on one of those silly rubbery elastics rather than a proper bracket.. I was worried about this in the beginning but it works rather well.. On the negative side it has a tendency to tilt a bit over time which is easy to correct on the move, but the positives are the ability to quickly tilt it down when passing pedestrians, or tilting right down if on the road..

Word of warning.
I have used a similar item for some time and have just taken it off. The bits of mud and grit that work their way everywhere have got underneath and scratched the paintwork
