Can anyone suggest some light folding and non-folding electric bikes?

Thanks

I have the Basis Finch folder. It's 19kg incl extras - lighter than some but not lightweight.

The weight only really matters if you need to lift in into the car, or for storage or if the battery runs out.
Even going up hills will be so easy a bit of bulk isn't noticed.

That's sort of true, true for me. Many people want to use minimal assist (or no assist) most of the time, and just have a little help on the hills. For that style of usage weight remains important.

A 20 in. wheel alloy Folder is usually 20 Kg. This is manageble to lift into a car boot , much more and 2 people to avoid back problems . Removing the battery would help to save 2.1 Kg. for an 8Ah one .

Depends on price. Lots of light bikes in the premium price sector.

At a mix of price points: Full size wise, Woosh Faro is quite light. Orbea Gain series are pretty light. Bikes with Fazua drive system like the Boardman Hybrid. Juicy Ticket.

Lightish folders include Brompton, Gocycle or at the extreme end Hummingbird. Cheap folders are rarely light. The Kudos K16 was quite light I think.

All good points, I'm just over 14st so any bike I'm on becomes a heavy old lump! ;)
