^^ Although Kudos expressly state warranty only applies to original purchaser making a claim, is the manufacturer's warranty not valid on other bikes (e.g. the 2-yr warranty on your BS10) as long as you give the purchaser the original sales receipt ?

Has anybody actually asked Kudos if the warranty can be transferred?

as he's keeping the bike (which is the best option financially by some margin i'd say) it doesn't matter.

to be fair to kudos, very few bicycles (santa cruz transferred my nomad, but thats the only one i know of), very few things sold directly by the manufacturer, and very few things sold at the volume of ebikes have warranties that are actually transferable.
