Juicy problem

My wife has a Juicy folder about 4 years old. Not done a lot of mileage. It has a unit which shows the battery condition and under that a button for the throttle. Problem is that the throttle button has to be in or the power is switched off. This seems to be a fault and I am fairly certain that it wasn't like it originally. Apart from the safety aspect of it I believe that when the button is in it draws some power away from the motor. It certainly does on my Freego Eagle. Anyone come across this problem before

My Cyclamatic had what must be the same housing, as you say the red button switches the motor system on and off. So yours is exactly as it should be.

thanks artstu. Fairly certain that when we bought the bike the button did not turn the power off, only the throttle. Of course I could be wrong but what would be the point because the power can be turned off on the main speed controller

Perhaps you're right. My bike didn't have any other way of turning the power on and off, only the switch on the battery.

Hi Gray
You're right, the button simply isolates the throttle and shouldn't switch-off the pedal assist. If you give us call we should be able to identify the issue and get a new part to you. I'm at the NEC this week, but will keep an eye on this to make sure you get the part you need.

More great c/s this time from Bob @ Juicy, this should be the norm all the time from all retailers.

Hi Gray
The workshop is staffed - so don't feel you have to wait. If you call us tomorrow Leigh will be there to sort out the correct new throttle (for that, I think, is the issue) to send out. Alisdair is also on duty over the weekend.
Kind regards
