The dash cam saved that driver. It would be very difficult to avoid prosecution without it. That reminds me of the deer that jump fences straight onto the road in front of vehicles. They just come from nowhere.
he sure jumped at the car like a monkjack..

From a previous report;

Eight arrests were also made on October 5. Cardiff Council's City Centre Warden Team took part in the operation which saw South Wales Police make two arrests, and the UK Visas and Immigration Service arrested six people.

Riders who sign up to work for the big food delivery apps have to pass background checks. They must verify their age, that they have no convictions and that they are allowed to work in the UK.

So whilst the delivery firms might check that a delivery rider is OK to work in the UK etc they allow the rider to lend\sell the permission to work to anyone else with no checks. Nice.

The thing is that anybody could sign up any legitimate person with or possibly without their knowledge, then start using the account to get work. How do they even know that the rider is the account holder, when they're always all maked up?

" Inspector Hugh Niccolls said 15 e-bikes and e-scooters were seized in Glasgow last weekend, with more than 20 people reported for "various road traffic offences". It comes after safety calls from organisations such as Cycling Scotland."

Ouch, that dude had a bald head, bald arms and not much clothing on and was landing head first on the island between the lanes...wonder what he looked like afterwards and if he walked away repeating 'it doesn't hurt....it doesn't hurt....'
