Annoyingly I had the chance to catch someone falling off at the end of this clip, but didn't realise that the lens was covered in mud, plus I turned away at the crucial moment!. The quality of light was also really crap, which also hasn't done any favours to the clip.
I entered the first part of this puddle, and the water went straight up to almost crank level, and had to dart across to the right to avoid floating wood, and onto what should have been safety on the side of the bank. The guy on the bike in front, slipped and come to a stop, and I nearly rammed him. He panicked, cycled forwards and tumbled sideways into the water, right up to his knees. He had done me a favour, as that would have been game over for me, with one submerged motor/battery pack. I must admit that no one could stop laughing at the poor guy.
I finally managed to get a clip of the bike climbing easily past a few riders today, which I'll try to upload later.
