Had a ride to Roman Lakes, then over Mellor Cross to Glossop and back yesterday, glorious sunshine, dry trails...no idea of altitude, but 40 miles of smiles (and the occasional oh, s**t moment lol), enjoyed a cold pint of Strongbow in the Little Mill, Rowarth and fixed a guy's snapped chain when we came across him pushing his bike in the middle of nowhere (another credit in the Bank of Karma)...

gave it a good going over with muck off protect and shine and gives it a nice finish, not sure can see it in the pics tho.

also had to index my gears as was all over the place and rear mec wheels plastered in gunk was not helping and the barrel adjuster on the shifter had completely undone its self lol.

damage from last crash

also the pivot bolt had started to unscrew its self again even with lock tight on the bolt so needs checking b4 each ride now. if they put a hole in each end i could hold it in place with a cable tie lol.

Looking good SW:cool:

I've just got back in from doing the first section of the Pennine Bridleway today with my riding buddy Dave, Middleton Top to Charlesworth on two batteries each...many thousands of feet gained and lost in altitude over 10 hours, single track, gravel, rocks, slippy grass and a feeling of a ride well done as neither of us fell off :p...new top speed recorded of 58mph (downhill of course) and I'm knackered from concentrating all day...back to reality tomorrow though, driver on hol and I'll be covering:(
