Depends on who's riding the road bike. How much slower than a road bike am I? I want to be as fast as a road bike on the flat ideally.
Hey so I find it is generally a lot harder to pedal my bike now. Is that just the extra weight that is slowing me down or do you think the front hub is somehow slowing me down beyond just being extra weight? If you say you can go at 22-24 mph while touring isn't that with say an extra 20kgs of stuff while riding?Depends on who's pedalling the road bike. Slow on my CX is 19mph, touring cruise at 22-24mph, can push beyond for short sprints. Only option is to pedal harder, but you will get drag from the motor... you can definitely feel it, you're likely to be working very hard to keep up.

Does your kit cut out at 15.5 mph? Also are you running flat bars or drops?I would say that on the (very rare) flat bits I can pedal at about 30-32 km/h on my very heavy bike if there is no wind.
No idea it's not listed anywhere that I can findhow many kg is the giant ?
