I just wrapped it around the motor and they all fit in nicely. But the dropper post was factory fitted..

Think i would drill another slot then look at a tighter fit.

What side of the crossbar does the dropper post cable come out of any chance of a pic just looking at how to do mine

All that I can say from the photos shown, is what a hell of a mess!
Why over complicate things.
My dropper post hose follows this route. Not shown n this photo, but the cables are also now hidden as well, so looking from the side, there are neither cables or hose showing.

Well, it is what it is and how it was made! I was wondering why the hose comes out of the frame to go back in again lower down, even with the cables uncrossed it still has a gap there..All that I can say from the photos shown, is what a hell of a mess!

I can't answer for the brand-x model, but I really rate the two Reverb seat posts that I have.
Being cable operated, you will never be able to get the tight bends that you can with the hydraulic hose of the Reverb. Gubbins, I presume that is why your cable takes the route that it does. No fault of Scott, as they probably didn't really have any other option available to them.
One of my Reverbs was an end of line 2015 version which I purchased in a sale, but failed after just one ride. It was sent away and replaced with a 2016 version. Total down time was less than five days, so I can't fault the after sales service either.
If you do opt for a Reverb and want to mount the activation switch on the left, then buy a right hand switch and turn it upside down and mount on the left. It tucks it nicely out of the way, whilst remaining in easy thumb reach.

No, as in cable routing. 
A cable sadly won't run freely if the bend or bends are too tight. Make a series of tight bends, and you will have no chance of it working.

thanks for the advice guys think i will go for the refurb and mount under the engine and up through the down pipe.
