This is Andy from Electric Bike Conversions in Stoke - thought I'd better make sure that we offer some clarification

- Whatever is going on with 200 bikes in Herts is definitley nothing to do with us.

- We are tucked away on an industrial estate. Calling before visiting is always a good idea because time is split between our showroom/workshop and warehouse (30 miles away)

Hope that this helps to clarify things:)

Andy, does the Herts operation belong to your company (well necessities)?

I am a relatively new member here as regards posting, and new to ebikes, and I was looking for a conversion kit earlier today. I found the following company advertising on eBay, and I was going to seek advice about the company on here before venturing further, but it seems like they have not been heard of as the eBay company appears to be the company referred to above. They seem to have good feed back on eBay, for various items, (not so much ebikes, and mostly for items sold over 12 months ago, which looks misleading for a new company). Their website, which I derived from their email address, www.electricbike-conversions.com took me to a website that had not been set up earlier today, but having just checked again, it now goes to a working website advertising their products, so it seems like a very very new set up regarding electric bikes, and seems to add to the suspicions of if the OP is genuine. I have nothing to do with this company whatsoever, but their prices seem very competitive, and it was that which drew me to check them out here. Hopefully, some of the experienced users on here will be able to check their deals and let me know if they seem genuine, and if their prices are competitive?
This is the ebay advert where I originally found them.

Having just had a closer look at the eBay feedback, it does not look very inspiring regarding the sales for an electric bike conversion kit supplier.

Somebody's going to have to try them so that we can get a fair report. It might as well be you.

They're not crooks. Pay with Paypal or your credit card and you're protected anyway.

I didn't say they were crooks, just that they have some unusual feedback on eBay for the company they are promoting.
I have had to use PayPal's guarantee 3 times in the past to get my money back, so I know that I am protected, I also know that it can be a protracted procedure, and one that I would prefer to avoid in future if possible.
