I must say I am also thinking about TSDZ2 Turbo. There is very little information about it, but what I gathered is very promising.

I have been told that my order for the Turbo will be ready just after their National Holiday (1-7 October). Shipment takes about 6-7 weeks.

Yes, I only sell road legal kits. Pricewise, I will sell the 48V 250W Turbo at the same price as my 48V BBS01ET. They are pretty equal in performance on paper.

I see that Pswpower offers only 1 year warranty although EU minimum is 2 years.

Any news on TSDZ8? Very little know about this motor so far. One user in Italy fitted this to his 29er and seems to be happy with it though. I'm missing objective review of this new Tongsheng motor. I'm aware that we will not get any endurance tests results any time soon but at least some teardown review would be very helpful. Toseven DM02 & DM01 were reviewed already and at least one of these were toredown by High Voltage... I'm most concerned about reliability and robustness. I hope someone who already have got and have been using TSDZ8 will eventually share his take on this.

I emailed tongsheng about the TSDZ2B turbo and heard nothing back, so as far as I'm concerned they don't exist. Also there's no reviews for that motor, no videos or pictures

Whereas for the to7 motors there are people paid to connect to customers in forums, and there are units in the wild. I ordered the DM-02 direct from the manufacturer and am looking forward to seeing how it stacks up against the TSDZ2B with OSF I've been enjoying for the last month.
Sure there are unanswered questions about the motors which will come in time, but they seem like a solid mechanical platform that just needs some good software.

I don't know why you're all talking about the motor wattages. Firstly the DM-02 comes in a 250w variant so that should be fine for all you resellers trying to keep your jobs. For everyone else it really doesn't matter, it's completely unenforceable. For those anxious about getting stopped by the police there's the speed limiter. For everyone else it's a non-issue

How's your motor going? I got my DM02 which is coupled to a 48v battery and I'm very happy. I tried for 2 years to turn the TSDZ2 into my dream motor but failed... I do prefer the finesse of the TSDZ2 - mbrusa OSF but the DM02 is ok in my current setting profile for what I do, which is hills commuting.

I ended up getting it directly through To7, took about 10 days from order to doorstep. It cost less than $420 American and a quarter of that was postage from China to Australia - via Fed Ex. If you're genuinely interested, just make any old inquirey on the To7 web page and Kat Lee will get in touch and she will be your go to contact for follow up service. Alex Noble is doing a lot of the myth-busting for the company and is also a bit of a fixer for genuine complaints. The hardware seems really good and the controller is capable but the fine tuning is not quite right. I have a TSDZ2 with heat pads and mbrusa OSF but there is no way I'm changing back.

What sort of wiring harness is used on these To7 motors? Is it proprietary wiring or 1T4 cable? Are brake sensor included in the kit? Are these the same as on Bafangs?

Only problem with DM02 and me is that it would not fit my bike frame. If it was a bit smaller in gear compartment area, like BBS02 or Photon, I would be getting it without second thought.
What is most important, Alex on High-Voltage Discord server provides great help and assistance for users. Seems like there are really into making community around their motors. On the other side, I want to order TSDZ8 (TSDZ2 Turbo), and there is no way you can get any info about it anywhere and manufacturer simply does not reply any mails you send. So, you make your conclusion.

Wiring will be proprietary as most is. Bafang use Higo stuff and the TSDZ I have is different so T07 isn't going to be any different , they wil use something that doesn't match or the pin outs will differ.

I will. I've only had my motor for a month, I haven't had the opportunities to ride as much as I usually do. I record my rides on Strava and have posted some of these on the HV DM02 thread.

I have ridden several different bikes with different motors, Bosch performance line CX, Shimano Steps e8000, Giant/Yamaha Core, Bafang Hub Drives, TSDZ2s since getting the e-bike bug 3 years ago. In that time I've ridden over 15,000kms and climbed over 150,000m mostly on a home - work - home commute that falls 500m to work and subsequently climbs 500m to get home and over 12 to 25kms, depending which winding hills road route I go.
From this background, I find the DM02 a match. My initial impression is positive. It feels like the DYI motor I have always looked for. BUT it is early days for me, the motor and my ability to get support and service when needed. So I can't say how the motor and company will stand the test of time but it looks good from here.
I've only done 300kms on this motor, when I've done over a 1000, I'll feel more confident to write a review.

Anyone who ditches a car for and ebike/analog bike, e-scooter... whatever... for at least a couple of commutes a week is a winner. Not just for their mental and physical health, but the health of our dear planet. Good on you

I will arrange shipment tomorrow. They should be here middle of December, in time for Christmas.
BTW, Tongsheng calls also the TSDZ2B Turbo TSDZ8.

I'm awaiting TSDZ8 shipment from China as well. Delivery to Poland hopefully before end of the year. In the meantime I’m trying to figure out alternative display to defaultly supplied VLCD5. I find this VLCD5 display that is bundled in the kit little bit archaic. Since I’m planning to use this motor with 52V battery the voltage meter in the display is a must. I’m not sure if 860C display dedicated for Tongsheng and flashed with OSF for TSDZ2 will work with TSDZ8. That’s the display I could easily order. Sourcing stock 860C display (without OSF) and dedicated for Tongsheng is not that easy. Wiring harness should not be a problem since this already exist: 1T4 with female 8-pin connector. So in theory I should be able to have display with voltage meter, e-brake sensors and thumb throttle…
