Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

agreed, at least a radiator. The TSDZ2 can reach 70C - 80 C inside after 10 minutes while the outside is just warm to touch.
The guys on ES realised this pretty early on and hence have made various suggestions for end users to modify with heat sinks etc to conduct the heat out to the ali casing.

Problem seems that Tonsheng/Aikema aren't interested in making this motor stronger or more rubust but looking at it as a cost factor.

The one main reason why it has a strong following is the TS function which the BBS doesn't have. Hopefully the ex design engineer has improved the cooling conduction on the new design of the To7.

Having done my mods I'm seeing the temp sensor reading not much more then 65c which is glued to the internal motor .

I am tempted to add a TMM torque sensor to the throttle of the BBS01

I hope you do it - I speculated about the possibility of using the BBSXX(X) throttle input for a torque sensor last year and the year before, hoping someone would make a mod I could simply buy.

In both pedals, connected wirelessly, as in my post. I don't want to make a TS system for my BBS01B, but given my previous enquiries about whether Woosh sells motors or batteries separately (he doesn't), I'm not holding out much hope that he'll sell any TS mod he makes alonef! I'll probably have to buy an entire kit!

Besides, I really don't see how TS can be all that wonderful anyway, I really like the CS operation of my BBS01B. It'd be a mod for the TS obsesed, who have few options under £1000 aside from the TSDZ2 or Fiidos.

I bet any TS mod Woosh makes will be a Woosh kit customer exclusive. Far too exclusive for me! I'll waste my money elsewhere.

Overpriced, are all Woosh kits. I can see why Woosh prioritises selling entire kits - margins are tight. However, pile em high sell em cheap works well for the likes of PSW Power etc.

we can't. Most of our customers build their first kit with us, we have to make sure that they succeed so we need to keep potential problems to a minimum. Also, only Andy and me do the support job.

One has to factor in the excellant back up/customer service and often next day parts supplied should something go wrong, plus the option of knowledgable service support to repair /fix said bike if the client is unable to.
Should your display ,controller, 1t4 cable develop a fault it will be with you pretty quick.

You don't get none of that from China or PSWPower.

They supply parts to existing customers bikes or even possibly a used Woosh bike , not just any Tom, Dick or Harry with an old bike.

Yes , but note the price hike from the original offering.
It almost smells a bit fishy.

The To7 webpage states internal gearing is 40:27:1 , yet PSWP state 53:1 but then it goes on to say 53 speed ratio , what ever that means. Maybe 53km/h ?
Some misinformation going on though the To7 page mentions 53 speed ratio.

Like Zorin Linux and Amazon, why not make chargeable extras of your excellent motor concierge installation support services? Then sell batteries and motors to me separately for less?

A price hike perhaps due to interest from ES motor morticians itching for teardowns/autopsies?

Might simply be bad translation coupled with sales staff not understanding technical terms of the specs?

The stator is tightly fitted into a machined housing now.
