Why must posters refer to the Troll insult when they disagree with what's been said.???
I don't fully agree with Stumpy but he certainly wasn't trolling and he made his case well, with valid points insulting no one.
Troll ?? Perhaps more likely for the poster saying so.???

The cyclist had broken no laws, agreed... Obviously. If being a pain in the arse were a crime... He d be locked up.
I totally disagree with stumpy.
BUT
He is not a Troll, just holds unpopular views.
(Like I do when it comes to President Trump!)

I used the word troll as I found it fitting
That is my personal opinion and this is a public forum with freedom of speech is it not

So my views as with anyone elses can be interpreted anyway we see fit

I see him as a person in this instance looking to get a rise out of people with a lot of his questions and his actions
Im not saying all of his statements were that inclined but a good few where and that is his right with freedom of speech

But as is my right to have an opinion I used troll as exactly with the description that should be used in this instance in my opinion, it’s not an insult its a fact read the description again especially the last part

Aren’t we all trolls on the internet and in life looking to get a rise out of some people sometimes?
Or are you such an angel you never have

Again that’s my opinion as it should be unless of course anyone has a problem with freedom of speech on a public forum and if you do Maybe you need be on a heavily moderated forum where everyone can be shut down and controlled and not speak there mind if what’s being written is disagreeing with you so much .

Think you need to chill out.
Why ??

You found the need to disagree with my post I found the need to defend myself

I’m not a person who lays down and takes crap off anyone
If that’s wrong then so be it.

In my experience the majority of cyclists are a pain in the arse, argumentative gits who hate everyone else from pedestrians to drivers using the roads and often go out of their way to pick disputes with them.

Often all while disobeying every roads law it's possible for a cyclist to break.

And our opinions are often wrong as yours is in this case. Stumpy is not a Troll.

Definitely an honesty one

Honesty is a far greater achievement than being popular
People just want to be popular as there afraid to speak there minds or break the mould other people want them in
At least with honesty and no bull you know where you stand with a person

I post as I find and I find cyclists to be by far the most stroppy of all road users. They often even hate each other, such as for riding a different kind of bike than their choice or riding an e-bike or someone not wearing a helmet, presumably hated because they wear one.

Can you imagine a car park scene with a hatchback driver picking on someone because they are driving a saloon, or a full face helmet motorcyclist picking on one with an open face helmet?

Sort of, some who use light assist motors with tiny batteries like Cytronex bikes, just for hills, are part time cyclists.

Or as some would have it, intermittent cheats. ;)

Perhaps when you quote a person it would seem viable that you are referring to them
Quoting someone would infer that you are involving them not a user you haven't quoted

Fair point.
But I was answering your statement.. Some are... which is perfectly true.
I could not use anybody else's quote as nobody else asked.
Perhaps I should have said "I am" to avoid your sensibilities.
Get over it. Stop taking things personal and serious.
By the way FR. Read your own definition of a Troll in post 57..Its beginning to sound rather like you.
Or, as I should have said earlier.
"if the cap fits "
You decide.
