Utterly ridiculous and a sorry symptom of the stupid snowflake over entitled society that we have.
This man should have claimed that he was wearing it for health reasons (sinusitis or something) and complained that the Head Teacher was trivialising his disability. (You need to know how to speak PC these days).
We used to wear silk bandanas outlaw style when motor cycling in the 1950s and 60s.
The teacher should enquire which pupils are frightened and explain to them the reasons for wearing protective masks.
The Police should arrest the teacher for wasting Police time and money.

Some years ago I used to pick my partners kids up from school and found some of the mothers in the playground pretty scary and they weren't wearing masks:eek:Never reported them to the head mind...

Utterly ridiculous of the head teacher to claim 11 to 16 year olds were frightened, what are we raising, wimps? Have all involved never seen a cycle mask, a face mask worn when suffering a cold or a balaclava? And if the officer thought a man should remove a face mask, what does he think a muslim woman wearing a niqab or burkah should do when they pick up their children?

The police officer should be advised by his seniors to use more discretion and commonsense next time instead of jumping to unfounded conclusions.

Do they show the face mask in question?

Congrats wicky (although my spell check keeps changing to sicky - delicious irony!)

Worst /funniest/disturbing thing I've seen since the brexit thread

not so me thinks....Bloke in a mask which caused the kids to be scared ...in front of s school,, safeguarding etc etc....Would you be ok with an unknown bloke in a facemask freaking your kids out ?

Defo breach of the peace....It would be in the public interest ...safeguarding at schools is top priority ..

He wasn't freaking kids out he was picking his own child up in a face mask that he uses for cycling that know one has yet seen to make any comment on im not saying the guy handled the situation 100% right but he wasn't too far out of line .

I agree that schools must be looked after of course but what do you think this guy is ??

And also and what has already been mentioned is its fine to walk around in a niqab or burkah and nobody has the balls to say anything because apparently that's there right to wear it well it works both ways in my eyes like it or not ,
or is it one law for one and another law for the other , oh yeah that's exactly what it is because this country has gone so PC against its own .

This might help some of you understand why the school staff & parents got a bit uneasy when someone in a mask loitered around the school gates for no apparent reason with an attitude.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/sweden-school-attack-silent-killer-was-driven-by-racist-motives-say-police-a6705286.html

Yet some folk find the OP story as a way to attack muslims - the mask I posted above would more appropriate headwear for the dick head in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk.

Edit: Soundwave, you look like a wananbee special forces right plonker.
