I must have missed this thread when it was posted 2 1/2 years ago. We won't get into a game of qualification top trumps, I'll take your word for it.

I actually like this bike, but I am a bit eccentric, I like innovations in design. If this was my bike I would have a fairing on it and perhaps a xipi motor on it would be quite a machine.

I like it as well. I think it would be great for touring with those bins and the distance it could cover.

It all comes down to things like how it rides, what is it like up hills, how comfortable it is.

It looks like it is designed for a niche market.

At the end of the day My Tonaro Enduro goes all the places I want to go and that is usually places other riders don`t want to try going. Plus my Enduro was relatively cheap.

I don`t know if it has been offered or asked yet but what does this bike cost?

Having spent time with apehangers, I can't see me tolerating them on a bicycle. There's no natural rest position, in that you must keep gripping the bars to simply keep your arms up - not very good at all.
Otoh, I rather like the frame design - it's fresh and funky and looks good to my eyes. With a set of lower and flatter bars I might get on with it.

I would have to say that this bike is not really suited to touring - there are many good bikes out there already for doing that. Imagine a nearly 40kg bike and then add you and 15kg to 20kg of luggage on and you'll struggle to control, ballance and stop that muther and for going up hills it would be slow and not to mention the short range etc. It's not for me.
A recumbent trike is the way to go touring and load carrying. And it's so comfortable as well.
It would be interesting to know what £40k bought in terms of develpoment to market though.

I'm hoping to make it to Leicester this weekend so will have a look. In fact my challenge is to cycle from Didcot to Leicester and back (200 miles round trip) using my electric trike. I'll see if the trike, my ezee kit and me have got what it takes but with 3 batteries it should be easy and fun!
