Firstly what's the general opinion of them and secondly where can I get a user manual from.
Unfortunately many of the cheaper end bikes its a case of you get what you pay for, and the components on them are the bottom end, which usually means they dont have any longevity to them. Cheaply made so can break more easily and getting spares and parts is so difficult, its a case of just buy that part complete.
With the above i mean the components such as wheels, brakes, drivetrain etc. The motor and battery and its component parts you need to look for identifying marks- manufacturer etc and then look for their own website where you can find a manual.
I've taken a look, but cant find any specific info.
Problem is this make isnt well known in the general uk ebike market, and thats probably why you got an inquiry from another user who had theirs nicked.
Its understandable to have someone join a site asking about an obscure bike, of the same type the user had pinched, so no need to fly off the handle and think thats an accusation, its an understandable action.
eg My bike is the only one of this particular Scott model in Scotland. Now imagine i had it stolen, and someone came into one of the ebike forums im on asking questions about that speccific bike, its only natural i would question them, looking to get identifying id off them. Human nature i would think.
As to your queries. Many here, especially with this type of bike - hub motor, battery etc have a great deal of knowledge concerning issues they face, breakages and all, so having specific questions concerning the motor make, the battery make, the controller or display make you will get more info that way.
