Got another saddle bag to try.

This one only just holds 10s 8aH or 12s 6.6aH multistars. Looks a bit neater than than the larger bag if 8aH will be enough for my commute. Looks a good size saddle bag for general use (or a larger controller) too.

Looking good.
You could try the bottle on the vertical tube for a more stealth look as it 'hides' the wires better. I had to put mine there due to battery placement, but seems a good spot for it.
For the water bottle conversion, I heated up the top section with a heat gun and then pressed it over the base to widen it. It now slides over the bottom section and holds without tape and is watertight.

I've settled on the smaller saddle bag for now. It just nicely holds 10s8ah Lipo's. Due to the weight I also added a shortened luggage strap pulled tight around the saddle metal rails to stop the bag swinging around, keeps it more solid and to stop the small straps snapping from the weight.

Now added Bluetooth connected battery BMS management so I can now charge/discharge and use my lipo's like a 'normal' battery. Its a Neptune15 from www.speedict.com and I would highly recommend it to any battery builder who likes techy stuff. I will do a seperate review on this soon.

I took the motor wheel off and have been riding it un-epowered for a while and am quite enjoying it.
Only a few miles at a time though.

I just spent the afternoon mucking about with my crappy rear derailleur and the analogue wheel and have 23 of 24 gears, tomorrow no rain announced so it is trike time again! Disclaimer: I still have a PAS disc and cable, all 2 metres of it...

I only removed the motorwheel, as an experiment for now so I can put the wheel back on in the future.
